A really awesome game! Even though it uses more than just two colors (in the opening sequence), it's really fun and fits the theme wonderfully with the light from your submarine illuminating the darkness of the 1-bit abyss. It's also quite an interesting concept of the 1-bit abyss being just a "regular" part of the ocean. So, an amazing game, really loved it and hope you'll keep up the good work!
(Also, really love the detail of the submarine flipping all the way around when changing direction.)

If you're referring to the color, yes. As you start on the 24-bit Surface, and must dive down to the 1-bit abyss. :P
Or you can just click the "Skip Intro Scene" button in the main menu to skip the whole sequence.
The game was quite fun! I thought the music and the very empty sort of space made it quite peaceful collecting all the creatures. The mechanic with space was really cool too I loved trying to find all the creatures! I think the movement was definitely a bit slow for the submarine as it would completely rotate to the other side with just a slight tap of a left or right direction but the game was pretty good overall. Definitely a cool idea for the jam :D
Good Intro, giving the backstory why everything is 1 bit, music is super cool. A bit lack of responsiveness in controls. But the effects and submarine is cool.
