A really unique adventure game that incorporates real video footage and animation. Play as two aspects of a damaged brain, working together to heal the self.
Explore, dig, and unearth fossils that can then be creatively assembled. The controls are a bit squishy and frustrating, but the concept is very engaging and fun.
A really unique concept -- a tactical RPG played out over multiple generations. Explore a procedurally generated map one step at a time, with each square representing one year of your life. You have to fight monsters and find treasure to secure renown, but be sure you retire from hero-work in time to fall in love and settle down because your child will be the hero. Wealth and skills accrue across generations, so gameplay is always done with an eye toward leaving a better world for your kids. Compulsively playable, equal parts puzzle, strategy and RPG.
A strategy game about the historical figure Simon Forman -- an Elizabethan-era astrologer. Dispense medical and other advice to a variety of townspeople by consulting with the stars (and listening for clues in their stories). Fully voice-acted and with a really charming pop-up-book art style.
A god-simulation -- literally -- where you can influence your followers and the development of their civilization by laying down commandments. Similar in spirit to Black & White, but more logic-based. You have limited commandment-producing abilities, and the madlib-style of completing them presents a unique challenge, but you can develop as you go.
A struggling novelist, a summer home, a family looking for a fresh start, and a ghost -- sound familiar? Here's the twist: YOU are the ghost...and you just want to help. Explore the house, invade memories, possess light fixtures, spy on the family, and gently guide them toward making the right choices.
A beautiful and well-written narrative RPG about being a dragon. Hunt, fight, collect treasure, explore and develop your abilities. Gorgeous art and lovingly crafted world-building make this something really special. The mechanics also encourage experimentation. Even if you die, you learn from it and carry skills forward to your next play-through, so no time is wasted. I can and will lovingly sink hours into this game.
