Strange, but compelling. Like if a child's interactive toy were designed by David Lynch. You get a series of liminal spaces to explore and trigger interactions that will open up the next place. Beautifully rendered and compulsively playable, and cut through with a dreamlike whimsy and surrealism that is almost unsettling.

The very definition of "walking simulator." A photorealistic journey through a New Zealand forest. Chill music, ambient forest sounds, and a really stunning level of detail. There are ways to interact with your environment and objectives to complete, but I didn't encounter any in my short play-through.

A pixel fireplace with good fire noises. It's also somewhat interactive. You can type in words to experiment with various objects, like "marshmallow" and "firecracker," and you can change the color by typing in various colors ("normal" returns you to regular fire, but try "sunset" first!) A nice relaxing backdrop and fun text-parser novelty at once.

Like it says on the tin: a simple rain simulator. Comes with a one-hour snooze function, visible clock, dimmer, monochrome option, and customization for speed and thunder. One of the better quality rain sound apps I've encountered. A nice soothing backdrop for studying or meditation; could also serve as a gentle reminder to stay off the computer while handling other tasks.

Imagine Minecraft, but instead of building things you just roam around exploring and taking pictures. Chill, lovely graphics, relaxing sound. A nice meditative experience.
