Absolutely adore this game! originally played it because one of my closest friends was obsessed with it but wow am I glad I pushed it to the top of my long to-play list. The story and the characters are GREAT and I love the 2.5D mechanics. This game fought my art block with a sword AND a shotgun, y'all. I was so inspired for weeks.
I love this game. So much. Usually not that into 3D games & their mechanics but this pixel render? Absolutely amazing, I'm in love. The aesthetics, the story and the mechanics are great. 10/10 will probably play again.
Will probably always be one of my favourite games. The controls, the aesthetics, the vibes all very much appeal to me. The story and atmosphere are simultaneously unsettling and calming, and the main character(s) are relatable and hilarious. I replay it at least once every year, which is saying something for me, who almost never replays anything. Oh, and the queer rep is appreciated too.
