Oh what a joy this was! I got through the base game (there are NG+ and NG++ modes that I'm not gonna touch) in around 2 hours, and that was with sub-optimal play, but also with running around and 110%ing the game. I love the look, the sound, the writing, and the play of this game. The puzzle construction to make everything doable in 60 seconds or less is an impressive feat.
It's just a really solid game.
Ehhhhh it's okay. It's a point and click game that you can get through in an hour or 2. It's spoopy but no jump scares or anything like that. The game features 8 endings, though I only went for 2. There's a lot of potential here, but the game sorta falls short on all fronts. I wish there had been more story-telling, more interesting puzzles, just... more.
Oh there is a lot to like about this game. It took me just over 5 hours to beat, and it was pretty swell from start to finish. Great design, great concept, great music, great writing.... honestly this game beats out a lot of bigger games in a lot of ways. Easily one of the best games I've found through the Racial Justice bundle.
Just a solid little puzzle game. Got through the main 90~ levels in around 3 hours, and there are 30 bonus levels I didn't really bother to play (my mind is frazzled after 3 straight hours). Soothing music, lovely to look at, and a good difficulty curve. None of the puzzles seemed too difficult with some application of logic and patience.
My only hangup is i wish there were options to reduce motion and color blindness mode to help differentiate portals.
Solid game.
What an extremely thoughtful experience. Informative, gentle, heartfelt, and impressively human. Whilst I woudn't qualify this game as "fun" in the traditional way, it was a really great experience. Death positivity is not a common attitude (at least here in North America) so this game's doing a lot of hard work to try and teach you the importance of it.
