A fangirl helps her much-beloved idol find her missing programmer.
Visual Novel

A bit too focused on idol subculture to my tastes and longer than i expected (~7h for me to reach the end), AIdol is a very well-produced Visual Novel with cute (but not always very likeable) characters and a decent story.

White-knuckle speed-Pac-Man.
Action

Really good kind-of-bullet-hell-but-not-really game. Great soundtrack, great production, solid gameplay. Very challenging but levels are short and there is no penalty for dying.

Anarcute
$14.99
Anarcute is a rampaging riot simulator, combining adorable aesthetics with huge-scale chaos!
Action

Windows-only, but a very cute and very fun riot game

A visual novel about a girl and an alien drinking tea and falling in love!
Visual Novel

Short silly and extremely cute visual novel about an alien lady, a greenhouse, a lone human girl, and tea

A surreal trip through the mundane

Collection of small, semi-interactive 3D vignettes of mundane urban things evolving in surreal ways.

Very well-done and pretty chill

Explore the social life of a young woman whose phone you have just found.
Adventure

Same premise and mechanics as with “A Normal Lost Phone”, but telling a pretty different story. I found the game-y aspects better handled, but the writing a bit… colder? pretty good anyway

A Normal Lost Phone is a game about exploring the intimacy of an unknown person whose phone was found by the player.
Adventure

Very well-written game in which you find a phone and learn about its owner by going through it (yeah, that premise is questionable, but it's great stuff anyway)

Space-cat crafting/survival game with base building.
Simulation

Somewhat basic, but cute and pleasant survival/base-building game

A game about a trans girl discovering herself through fandom, chats, and the early internet.
Visual Novel

Pretty well-written narrative game, with a delightful old-Macintosh-like interface! It looks and sounds nice, and most of the dialogues are very well-written.

If you play on linux and don't receive new messages, run it with `LANG=C`.

Pave the road to a post-capitalist society
Simulation

Interesting take on a Reigns-style game, but more realistic and set in modern-day United States (although all characters are animals), where you're prompted to apply socialist policies.

It looks and sounds great, and plays surprisingly well.

A minimal action game by Terry Cavanagh, with music by Chipzel.
Action

Minimal game with excellent gameplay and a great soundtrack by Chipzel!

It can be very hard, but it's also very good :3

A New Cyberpunk Adventure
Adventure
Celeste
$19.99
Brave hundreds of hand-crafted challenges as you help Madeline survive her journey to the top of Celeste Mountain!
Platformer

Beautiful and challenging platform game with very tight gameplay, good story, good—if sparse—writing, lovely characters. While it's very challenging, it also lets you customize various settings to make it easier if you so wish

At the end of everything, hold onto anything.
Adventure

Maybe my fav game ever? It looks nice, it sounds nice, it's a well-written narrative game… kinda nostalgic, kinda tough on your feelings but filled with warmth and relatable characters

A girl, a monster, another girl, roses. The usual.
Visual Novel

A short but nice Visual Novel

weary, transformation, dog, burger, comfort
Simulation

Nicely-written short interactive story about a (straight) couple of people, one of which turns into a pom

A revolutionary crowd-based retro brawler
Action

Kinda underwhelming gameplay, but looks and sounds good enough, but can't make it's political stance less obvious :D

a little exploration game about hiking up a mountain
Adventure

Small relaxing game doing simple tasks on a cute mountain
