This is more like a dump of the really old, really badly-aged garbage I made. I've added some never-before-heard behind-the-scenes info blurbs about these abominations. Best read from bottom to top.
School assignments are always a good excuse to commit plagiarism. This is the game where I first discovered the power of making things go squishy.
Just when I started school, about halfway through the first year, I got some friends together and we made this. There were fights, people got angry. It's astonishing it ever saw the light of day. A wonderful time!
I was listening to a very weird album while making this and totally tried to rip off the art style of the album cover. Can't remember the name.
The first time I've known genuine fear. The project file crashed just before the deadline. By some miracle I scrapped it together and published it just in time all within the hour. I think you can walk off the screen and break the game.
I made this for a friend who's addicted to these type of grind games. The goal was to get him hooked on it and he kind of almost did? (Not really, but he did get the secret item...)
The first time I made a game without a jam as an excuse to do it. I made this super small thing on a Sunday afternoon. I was so proud of myself and I secretly still am. This is also the game where I discovered sound effects.
Another escapade in procrastinating through most of the jam. Clearly a theme by now in my GC Jam submissions. This one is almost a game because I made the controls way too difficult.
This is like Papers, Please but I completely botched up the code. But it has at least one joke!
Still in my gamemaker days, after procrastinating through the entire jam, I made this quickly in a few hours. I remember being so ashamed at how there's absolutely nothing to this game. Still uploaded it, though!
Despite knowing almost nothing about making games I was absolutely convinced I could make a game in an hour. Behold, my greatest game, Squirrel.
One winter night at 4AM, I suddenly decided I wanted to try to make a video game using game maker studio. That same night I checked out the in-engine tutorials. Two weeks later I finished this using Drag 'n Drop. My very first game.
Fun Tidbit: I convinced a friend of mine to pay the Play Store developer license for me if I added him as a Producer in the credits. I told him he would get all of the ad revenue. I made 65 cents.
