This is the first game I've made that required entirely virtual/remote collaboration. Was really happy to be able to work with Raespark whose previous work had delighted me. I really just wanted to practice my game writing skills for this one, and I'm grateful for her technical skill and ability to assemble the playable "meat" of the game in Godot. I'm also really happy I got some "playtest feedback" on the writing-only portion of this game (via a Twine prototype I made), which allowed us to work much more efficiently by being able to separately test out different parts of the game.
really cool interesting gameplay idea! literally building a maze!
an unexpected but truly welcome sequel to the first carrot-raising sim game made in a previous jam
I didn't expect to like this carrot-raising sim as much as I did
really small tiny fantasy-genre narrative exploration game <3
you know i am all about that meta-narrative life
got a lot of nostalgia for 90s computer games with this one
this has a really fascinating "spy" aesthetic and theme to it which I wasn't expecting. Basically, Minesweeper with an extra mechanic or two
wow, really emotional narrative on this one. great stuff
really enjoyable personal/autobiographical game with relatable writing!
had fun trying to figure out the 3D puzzles in this one!
i've been wanting to make a game as a Discord server for ages, but had really no idea how to do that or what it would be. really glad someone else got on this boat and showed a really well-executed example!
really nice art-generation game!
i could not get past the second level for some reason bc i am terrible at knowing what the word was supposed to be, but i thought this was a really interesting mechanic based almost entirely around observation
climbing this little summit is the best
incredibly satisfying rhythm game
connect-the-dots mechanics, but hilarious
loved this parody of Tinder!
The writing on this was incredibly unique and had fascinating worldbuilding that didn't feel like "cliche fantasy genre."
I made this one! It is definitely my best 100% solo game I think I've made so far. This was further bolstered by the fact that I learned it had been selected for a December exhibit event at the Akron Art Museum. This game was extremely autobiographical and helped me do a good chunk of cathartic but self-forgiving processing about a few really stressful events I had experienced a couple weeks prior.
again, i'm really bad at math, but loved the uniqueness of this idea!!!
would love to see this expanded
super interesting intense gameplay with an AI!
really nice little relatable simulation of social anxiety
really interesting mechanics for interrogation-style dialogue!!
i was really bad at this but had a lot of fun
nice work on making this a fairly SFW game out of an NSFW topic, all things considered--not that that's *necessary* to do, but it's certainly a nice bonus. while I'm *super* not sexually active at all, I've had some hilarious conversations with friends who were willing to share with me some stories from their own complicated sex and relationship lives, and this game reminded me of those stories!
so gross. i absolutely love it
