The world building in this game is absolutely amazing. Also, though you can play it how you like, I would STRONGLY recommend playing in the recommended play order. The world is complex, and the recommended play order introduces it incrementally, which helps a lot in understanding the meta-plot.
The writing in this game is incredible. There's a lot of great dialogue in here, and the snarky tone of the main character was always a pleasure for me. Additionally, the themes were interesting and consistent, and I enjoyed learning the lore of the world.
The complex world that exists in this game is well made, and the complex connections between the characters was great to experience.
This game is wonderful and highly atmospheric. With that said, it won't seem like it as you get rolling, but it REALLY is a good idea to heed the trigger warnings. They're not being oversensitive. This will hurt you if you aren't ready.
