started off strong with interesting characters and mysteries, but has grown increasingly cumbersome to read. the backstory is verbose and halts the momentum of the story, internal monologues are often overly poetic and ambiguous with pov, and all of the characters speak in the same way. the art is phenomenal, but everyone has the same chiseled or inflated body type.
suspense and pacing is handled poorly, with key revelations being unceremoniously handed out at awkward moments with no room to take them in.
the sound design is not great, with almost every effect making do a double take. the music is fine, but that one song with the out of tune violins was driving me crazy.
