READ THE CONTENT WARNINGS. They are there for a reason, and if you have trouble with any of the topics at all, please take care of yourself.

Okay, it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is a beautifully done game. There is an eeriness to each playthrough, especially in the differences between them all. The storytelling is so well done that sometimes it doesn't even feel like I'm playing it, but merely viewing through Iggy's eyes.

Though the cutesy art style might make it seem like it's not as dark as it is, definitely do not let that fool you. The combination of the two is fantastic, and helps the impact of the story.

It's...a hard conversation to go through, a difficult place for anyone to be. Receiving comments like that, where they're just utterly painful, it's almost a little distasteful to call them constructive criticism. I don't work on games myself, but I know what it's like to write a story. And...I get it. The process itself is hard, and the comments are sometimes worse.

But you can't let that stop you. Because somewhere out there, you made at least one person's day brighter. That's what's most important.

I'm fortunate enough to not be in this exact situation, but I know people who are in similar situations, and I myself deal with a lot of anxiety about my family's acceptance of me. This is...scarily accurate. The indignation, the anger borne from pain, it's...visceral.

What's scarier than this being real is the fact that many people don't have this kind of support system - they don't have a Jack to go to.

It's messed up (and some other choice words).

So while I didn't enjoy being put through these secondhand emotions, I know I needed to. I know that it's important to - for everyone.
