Noteworthy Games

A small, unconventional horror rpg.
Role Playing

The game is really reminiscent of corpse party given the heavy super natural horror and rpgmaker elements as well as the rapid transition from normal to all hell breaks loose. Despite the graphics being entirely sprite based, it's actually quite a terrifying game: not as in the sense of jumpscares , but more so the psychological aspect. Despite this being merely a prologue, it has enough substance and story to become its own standalone thing. I would definitely recommend trying this game out!

Short PSX inspired Horror experience.
Adventure

Murder and egg fried rice? This is what we get in this PS1-graphics styled game. It's a goofy horror game that doesn't take itself too seriously, but is still pretty scary regardless (jumpscares beware). Despite the lack of open world exploration in the game, there's still a good deal of things you can explore/interact with. If you're just bored and want to play something relatively linear, short, and enjoyable, I recommend trying this game out.

Visual Novel

This is what VN dating  sims should strive for: subverting expectations, breaking the fourth wall, and turning an otherwise cute game into a psychologically demented horror show. To be fair, the characters are your standard archetypes and the base story is as linear and one dimensional as most other dating sims get, but everything else is just *chef's kiss*.  Plus, DDLC Plus helps give more personality and depth to the characters, making them seem less as some generic NPC of the game and more like an actual character in the game.
