It's everything you ever wanted from Wordle, now offline! This has become a really polished production, with a UI that is pleasing to look at and satisfying to use. It has quickly become the most-played item on my Game Boy Micro's flash cart.
A simple, easy-to-understand premise pays dividends, and a generous UX makes this game an absolute pleasure to play
MissionForce: CyberStorm is one of the greatest and most important turn-based strategy games ever made -- essential playing for fans of the genre, as well as Battletech/Mechwarrior fans. Post-WinXP it has tragically been next-to-unplayable, but a wonderful and compassionate person has patched it for Win7 and up.
This person has also helpfully included instructions (follow the links on the itch.io page) to reenable "network play," which was one of this games' strengths upon its release. (It actually came with TWO cd-roms, each containing a full copy of the game, so friends could pair up for modem play!)
This is such a special thing, and I am so grateful for this patch.
This is probably my favorite piece of horror interactive fiction of all time.
