Sell books along the River to animalfolk

Welcome to the River; a flowing path born at the mountain’s feet. In her high narrows, barely two boats fit lengthwise; a furious pounding of water. From these rocky ravines, she threads her way through the land, until she reaches the Great Sea. Quiet and slow-moving in these lowlands, she provides homes for those who live upon her waters and food for those who live beside her.

A solo journalling game

On a gently flowing river, you are a bookseller with your floating bookshop. As you paddle up and downstream, your days are filled with customers, leaks and the irritating nook beetles that bury into the pages of your books. Make friends with regular customers to the bookshop, experience the River as she moves through the different seasons, visit and explore various towns, go fishing in the River's rich waters. Throughout the year, the seasons change and holidays give the chance for you to join in celebrations and festivities with the animalfolk.

Grim-to-nobledark fantasy roleplaying of Xokol & blood-obsidian.

THE WORLD IS ALREADY DAMNED

The Teotekah Empire is a corpse draped in gold, its carcass cracked by the weight of divine bargains. The scarred lands demand blood, this ancestral covenant the strangling mercy of Naktokatl and Metzteotl.

The diviners mutter of the east, where the brood of Ayekoatemikti coils inside HIS MATE. Yet the damned flesh-bearers march on—a last discordant hum, echoing before the ancient loom finally snaps.

KOKOTÖNA is a grim-to-nobledark, rules-lite, OSR TTRPG compatible with MÖRK BORG, inspired by the myths and legends of the Nahua peoples from precolonial Mesoamerica.

A Heartwarming Tabletop RPG of Travel, Wonder and Friendship

Ryuutama is a tabletop role-playing game developed in Japan by designer Atsuhiro Okada, now available in a complete English edition. It is set in a world where the "NPCs" of the village--the bakers, farmers, shopkeepers and healers--set off on a wonderful adventure exploring a fantasy world together. Some people colloquially call it "Hayao Miyazaki's Oregon Trail", because of its heartwarming (in Japanese "honobono") feel of family anime, and its focus on traveling and wonder over combat and treasure.

The characters are travelers in a world without classical fantasy wizards and warriors. Instead, the characters are minstrels, merchants, healers, hunters, artisans, farmers and nobles who decide (or were fated) to leave their towns and explore the world. Using a light rules system based on polyhedral dice where the randomness in results leads to more story development, Ryuutama provides a framework for travel-focused stories fun for adults and enjoyable for all ages.

A TTRPG about Goblins learning Magic!

Goblins & Grimoires is a table top fantasy role-playing game based on the Four Points RPG System.

In this game you'll play as a gang of Goblins, small burrowing creatures, inhabiting the lands of Pherendel. For one reason or another, you have decided to learn magic! However, practicing magic in Pherendel is a tricky business: you'll need to find the right ingredients, know how to prepare them, and come up with a good incantation. Most importantly of all, you'll need a Grimoire to write everything down in, or the spell just won't work. Even when spells do work, you can never tell what the side-effects will be!

A TTRPG wherein the players play as goblins from the same clan, defending their home from an incoming threat.

Adventurers are coming to your dungeon and they want your trinkets, your pets, your mushrooms, your boss, or maybe they just want to "clean the place up." That means it is time to do what goblins do best: spy, scheme, panic, set horrible little traps, and protect the trinkets!

Goblin Dungeon: The Role Playing Game is a tabletop role playing game (TTRPG) for one Game Master and two or more players. It uses six-sided dice, paper, and a shared dungeon sheet. The players are goblins from the same clan, defending their home from an incoming threat. Each session is played in three acts: Scout the Threat, Scramble, and Defend the Dungeon.

A tabletop RPG of fatal incompetence

Goblin Quest is a tabletop roleplaying game about slapstick violence, fatal ineptitude, and the greatest adventure of your life.. Play five goblins each (in sequence, not parallel) and watch them meet hilarious ends while failing to achieve the most basic tasks. Will they survive the dangerous world of the Great Battle Camp and avoid the attentions of brutal orcs, murderous bugbears, mean-spirited hobgoblins and scary wizards? Probably not. But you'll have fun finding out!

Something's wrong with the world and I don't know what it is.

Something's wrong with the world and I don't know what it is.

It used to be better, of course it did. In the golden age of legend, when there was enough to eat and enough hope, when there was one nation under god and people could lift their eyes and see beyond the horizon, beyond the day. Children were born happy and grew up rich.

Now that's not what we've got. Now we've got this. Hardholders stand against the screaming elements and all comers, keeping safe as many as they can. Angels and savvyheads run constant battle against there's not enough and bullets fly and everything breaks. Hocuses gather people around them, and are they protectors, saviors, visionaries, or just wishful thinkers? Choppers, gunluggers and battlebabes carve out what they can and defend it with blood and bullets. Drivers search and scavenge, looking for that opportunity, that one perfect chance. Skinners and the Maestro D' remember beauty, or invent beauty anew, cup it in their hands and whisper come and see, and don't worry now about what it will cost you. And brainers, oh, brainers see what none of the rest of us will: the world's psychic maelstrom, the terrible desperation and hate pressing in at the edge of all perception, it is the world now.

And you, who are you? This is what we've got, yes. What are you going to make of it?

A Shonen inspired TTRPG

There’s something different about you. You might hit harder than others, know more, or break the rules that you thought held the world together, and you’re not the only one. But no matter how hard you think you hit, someone else hits harder. Thousands upon thousands are older than you, more experienced, more privileged, and more selfish, but you’ve got one advantage, you’re a rising star, full of potential, and ready for the DAWN.

DAWN is a grid-based, combat-focused, setting-agnostic tabletop roleplaying game (or TTRPG), inspired by a wide range of battle manga, anime, and tactical video games.

Everspark
$19.90
An epic fantasy game that says 'yes' more

Everspark is a fantasy adventure tabletop RPG that captures the vibe of the most popular fantasy RPGs out there and leaves everything else out of the table. Do you want to roll some d20s and pretend you are a wizard? You are in the right place.

You get to tell epic tales, live the fantasy of being a unique hero, celebrate nat-20s and lament nat-1s, and spend some quality time with your friends (or by yourself) daydreaming about dragons. You only need a d20, a d6, and a bunch of sticky notes.

I found this game in a basement. Really want to know what it says.

My name is Salvador Moss. Sorcerer Emeritas of the College of Friends, Sellsword of Melsonia and Befouler of Ponds.

Sometime this last week whilst sphere-hopping I stumbled upon this artifact, an illustrated pamphlet, or "zyne"-- though I cannot parse the words written within. It appears to be a manual of some kind? It greatly resembles the type of adventure-dice games I've seen played in taverns across Melsonia-- and even appears to have a reference to the gentle "Fortle," a beast about which I am currently writing a travelogue.

If anyone across the spheres has knowledge of the language here or the game's proper title and has the time and energy to translate the text it would be greatly appreciated. It looks fun and I would love to play it.

A solo game for ghosts.

Dwelling is a role-playing game and short story for one.

Taking on the role of the embodied narrator you will wander through your new strange home at night. Conjuring spectres and finding they summon parts of your past along with them. Read, write, and draw in this curated solitary experience of a sleepless night in a haunted house.

As you navigate the house at night you find yourself stumbling into strange occurrences in each room, strange spectres summoned before your eyes. Spectres that slink, stretch, drip and ooze. Draw, sketch, or collage your spectres into being.

With each spectre comes something else dredged up with them. Your mind swirls as you get lost in remembering a time you've felt like this before. Each memory comes up in small pieces, as you are lost wondering where were you? What happened? What was left after that moment?

As the memory slips away, so does your spectre, leaving you alone, once again, in an empty room in the middle of the night. Though something is different, something has changed, something about this encounter has left a mark on you.

Play solo as the GM with a player character emulator

Triple-O is a tool for solo RPG players who want to invert roles and play as the GM instead of a character. This resource allows you to dynamically and naturally emulate character behavior and actions, making it ideal for running published adventure modules or exploring your own creations.

Originally released as a one-page tool that sold more than 500 copies, this expanded zine edition builds on that foundation with clearer explanations, additional use cases, real-play examples, and a wider set of tables. No bloat, no filler, no complications. Just polished and enriched!

▶ Swaths of character creation options are provided to add diversity, mutations, and otherworldly madness to your warband.

▶ A dozen unique scenarios for gameplay, which can be broken apart, cobbled backed together, and replayed with new warbands and foes for endless replayability.

Prostitute your chess board to the pageantry of painted figures!

Flagstone is the first #chess28 game. It may be the last. It uses my generic Chess28 Core Rules System, plus a set of Faction Lists and Game Modes that are specific to Flagstone. This rulebook contains a prototype of the game, which is a fully-functioning grid-based miniature-agnostic fantasy skirmish game, with list building and four factions.

As you boot heels clatter across the onyx and marble flagstones of another seemingly identical room, you wonder at your foolishness in stepping foot in this maze. Despair is a luxury you can ill-afford: there must be a clue to the path out in one of these rooms?

a 2-player play-by-audio game where you are same character, in parallel worlds

In this game, both players play the same character; they discover an old two-way radio, but in two different worlds. They both reach for it, but one of them speaks first. The only differences between them are the world they live in, and who speaks through the radio first. At least, to begin with.Radio is ephemeral.

This games' use of live, one-chance audio recording is an attempt to replicate that. There is ritual to consider what to say, and then recording it once, and then sending it into the ether to find another you. But these rules are compatible with live play at a table, ephemeral video like Snapchat, or epistolary play, if you so choose.

In Echo Radio, the worlds of your characters become unique through information loss. This information loss occurs because of the ephemerality of radio. When you repeat their world back to them, your world becomes their world, but half-remembered and differing strangely.
