This isn't how the game was meant to be seen as, but this is how I play it:
Trapped in an unknown place with only a computer as company. You have a notepad on the computer and you can write down each day and your experience. Was it fun? Your family and friends and anyone you know or knew has no idea what your job is. Your job is this, a secret agent. You are on your first mission. No one has ever came back from this mission, but you only find that out by a phone call you get from your boss after you arrived in Hacker's Forest (which I see as a room with no windows or doors, just a computer and lights). Your family, friends, people you knew and people you know will never know what happened to you. They will be told that you died in an accident at work, but they will never know what your job was.
That isn't how it's meant to be seen or played. It is just how I see it.
