A collection of things on here that I've really enjoyed
I really like the idea of using Itch as a tip jar, which is what this product page is. But I have used this image as a wallpaper for years now so I guess it ended up being a bargain too
in addition to being a great game designer, I also like this cookbook. I get excited when game devs post recipes, idk
only playable during the Halloween season but I love little online multiplayer experiences like this
a cute and good Zelda like with some nice difficulty options and co-op mode, which made it nice to play with my kids. You can be a frog!
I just think it’s a beautiful space to walk around in for a few minutes
yes it’s an adult game but….uuhhh…..well…ahem…..
loved this little game explaining why people should use the game making tool Downpour
I’m such a big Domino Club fan and I think they represent the best of Itch. They’ve anonymously produced so many great games that are a bit fucked up and weird, and also very personal
the devs of this are very open about this being a Golden Idol clone, but it does it well and I think the setting is very fun
itch has a very vibrant Amiga game dev community and this is a great one to start with. Just a very solid arcade game that’s easy to pick up and play
Every HauntedPS1 demo disc is good but I think it’s nice that this one splits the horror and non-horror stuff so even people who don’t want to get scared have something to play
just an excellent wizard of wor remake
a great tool for generating ttrpg character backgrounds
Very solid puzzle game that's incredibly easy to pick up
very funny adventure game with my favorite look in games, digitized sprites
clever puzzle game that combines elements and chess but with a mix of the vaporwave and utopian scholastic aesthetics
Very approachable open world space sim but with the personality and humor that a lot of modern space sims are missing
An incredible fan game/parody of Sierra's obscure trainwreck CODENAME: ICEMAN
Fake multimedia cd-roms are 100% my thing
Well made turned based strategy game for DOS
Someone made a short, free adventure game in the browser about Mel's Hole and I'm very happy about that
fantastic free zine on visual novels and interactive fiction
Short autobiographical story about the benefits of making a website
Bitsy demake of the very good actually MMO (which is still going for free!) Myst Online
