Completed game with not a lot of choices, very much an interactive novel. Beautiful in a melancholy way.
I really enjoyed this game. Simple, not a lot of choices or variations, but sweet. Made me smile. Auralee was very charming, and I liked Kerr more then I initially expected to - I thought he was going to be a particular "type" of character I don't ususally enjoy, but I appreciated that he apologized when he was a jerk whether it was his route or not, and the scene where he and Auralee try to come up with a non-violent distraction was probably my favorite in the whole game.
Apparently I really like period otome? All the endings are "good" endings, two for each of the ladies and one stayin' single. All the characters are charming, and all the stories have themes of acceptance, each with a little bit of mystery tossed in. Winnie's route provides the most complete answers, so if you want to piece it together for yourself, save her for last.
I really enjoyed this game. I played for all endings, extras and achievements, though I'm lacking about 1500 words for the Seen All Text one. I might still run through a couple more times to find the missing scenes, but as is I'm not sure where they are. The story is surprisngly dark (especially some of the bad ends, which are actually genuinely bad) and I like that we only get all the details if we play all the routes. I'm definately planning to follow and play future games.
All the routes are great, though I liked Guy's the best. We get a MC with personality and an awesome best friend lady, too. Only thing resembling critism is I want more. Definately will play at least 3 or 4 more times, even though I've gotten the "best" endings already.
