A very unique game all about randomized abilities

Mosa Lina feels like an acid trip TBH: The artstyle is very simplistic yet effective, the abilities can be used in many ways in order to complete the level, and all that while keeping the gameplay cycle fresh.

Don't let this game fool you, despite having only 8 levels, its replayability is inmense. This is because, upon entering unbeaten level, the game will pick 3 out of 11 unique abilites at random, making each attempt completely unique.

A fast paced platformer that sorta reminds me of Super Meat Boy.

The gameplay of this game is very simple, you press the spacebar, you jump. That's about it. However, there's many obstacles and platforms you'll use to your advantage.

The main mechanic of this game is to not stop moving, because if you do, you'll lose speed, and if you lose speed while on the ground, you die.

The game in itself is easy, but with how short the levels are, it leaves me wanting more. Maybe adding some sort of "post-game content" could fix this issue, but it's still a very enjoyable game to beat.

A platformer with a deeper meaning.

This game has your average platformer movement and mechanics, however, you will unlock abilities after reaching certain points in the game. These sections give small bits of monologue to take a small break from platforming and reflex.

The graphics are simple but help convey the message of this game, adapting to the cat sacrificing the colors of the world to go further.

The gameplay itself is relatively easy, but near the end it feels lackluster, as it just plays around with already existing mechanics. I do know that this game was made for a game jam, so this argument doens't really change my thoughts on the game overall.

A short game based on Jump King but with a twist! You're a furry Every player can move the blocks and THEY STAY LIKE THAT FOR THE REST OF THE PEOPLE PLAYING.

The controls are simple, using WASD or the arrow keys to move and jump. The mobility is very smooth and has great aerial control thanks to the double jump.

Once you reach a checkpoint, you can move one block from the area you're in at the moment. Once confirmed, this change in the environment will apply to all players, you can even see the usernames of the people who moved a block by gliding over the blocks with your cursor! This lil' detail makes it so that every run is different for each player, giving it some replay value over time.

A great game to play on a short break

A platformer with complex puzzles and a very entertaining mechanic: Using pick-ups to use abilities.

The controls are very comfy and easy to get used to, with great aerial control while jumping or changing gravity.

There's 5 pick-ups:

  • Green arrow: Allows you to jump high.
  • Yellow arrow: Allows you to make a dash.
  • Red arrows: Allows you to TP upwards.
  • White arrow: Allows you to change gravity.
  • Laser: Switches the lasers' On/Off.

The game stops you from rotating between pick-ups, creating small challenges that require you to think which abilities to use/grab or not.

The graphics are minimalistic, but they work well for this game

A short yet wonderful continuation to Tricky Keys.

In this follow-up title, the mechanics are completely different. Instead of a virus taking control over your character by infecting your keys, you need to give directions to a controlable platform in order to reach the goal

Unlike the previous entry of this mini-series, this game is more puzzle-centric, giving you challenges that require to put some thought to them (Some of them being quite hard IMO).

The main mechanic of this game is the "AI Platform Assistant", a platform that will follow the commands you give it through a small window. This window can also be infected with virus instructions that will try to mess you up, so you gotta think how to take advantage of them.

This game also keeps the Windows 95 vibe the 1st game had and upgrades it with higher pixelart quality and better animations.

Definitely the best way to continue the OG game.

A unique and challenging platformer that won't forgive any mistakes.

This game is built around a Windows 95 setting, with neat lil' details like a window where you can see the virus (the main antagonist) as a menacing creature that's slowly taking over the computer. The pixelart in this game pushes this idea even further, which makes this game stand out a lot more.

To make matters worse (difficulty-wise), most of the levels won't allow you to fully control your character, instead, the virus will take over your controls and use them against you, making certain levels extremely hard and punishing. In top of all that, there's many obstacles, controllable platforms that will turn on/off with each input of a specific key, conveyor belts and much more.

Each of the levels is unique, changing the theme every 10 levels, going through different areas of the computer which makes some levels far more recognizable. This change of scene also helps know when a section is over and when to expect new mechanics to be introduced.

This is one of the hardest platformers I've played and, despite my massive skill issue and major raging while playing the final level, the game never becomes too frustrating or tedious.

Definitely one of my favorite platformers.

A friendly platformer with a spacey theme.

The objective is to activate all 4 lights on a big door in order to reach the goal, but you can also challenge yourself by trying to collect all 8 crystals.

The game has very basic platforming mechanics, tho I'd like to give it some merit for having enjoyable underwater gameplay (Despite 95% of the gameplay being above water).

The graphics are simple but work perfectly to make the player pop out.

Despite being a great game, it has 2 major flaws:

  1. The game has no replayability unless you want to speedrun it or go for the 100%, otherwise you'll most likely just play it once.
  2. The game doesn't save your progress, losing all progress if you close it or beat it.

Overall, it's a good game! Tho make sure to beat it on one sitting if you don't wanna start all over again.

A short yet challenging puzzle platformer with a twist.

IN's main theme is duality, giving the player the ability to TP through walls, also changing the way gravity affects the player.

The controls are simple, altho it can get very annoying having to move and aim the TP with the same keys. The TP mechanic is very well made and feels smooth, having a few interesting interactions.

The graphics in this game are what stand out the most, with a beutifully detailed pixelart artstyle. It also takes advantage of the main mechanic by using a negative filter for a couple of frames everytime you TP.

The puzzles are complex, but not to the point where it gets annoying, making it very satisfactory when you find the solution to the puzzle.

Un plataformero de acci贸n en el que controlas a un alien que utiliza su pistola para desplazarse por las distintas salas que has de completar.

A platformer in which you control an alien with a gun.

The controls are very comfy, and the game physics are well made, and altho aerial movement can be a bit hard to get used to, it's not a problem for most of the game.

The different game mechanics and obstacles in this game are used to its fullest, mixing and matching them to create challenging yet very entertaining levels.

One of the more complex mechanics is steel walls, which make your bullets bounce and even kill you. This makes steel walls be one of my favorite mechanics, because it makes you use your brain more while having the reflexes to avoid your own bullets.

The graphics are great, with a type of pixelart that is very pleasing. The small details and color palette do a wonderful job at keeping you focused on the lil' alien and the obstacles of the environment.

A short and simple platformer perfect to beat on the spot.

The controls are comfy and the mechanics offer a very fun and easy gameplay.

The difficulty of this game resides in its puzzles, which are relatively easy, with a couple of exceptions of course.

The different types of platforms create a very pleasing experience, altho I believe harder levels could be achieved by simply moving around a couple of elements inside them, but it generally isn't a problem.

A precise and frenetic platformer in which you play as a car with no breaks, meaning that once you start moving, you'll never stop unless you either beat the level or die (which is far more likely to happen LMAO).

The gameplay is very entertaining and challenging, with a total of 18 levels to play, each one harder than the previous one.

Some levels are incredibly hard, creating a very irregular difficulty curve, peaking at levels 14 "Lilypads" and level 18 "Crisscross".

The minimalistic graphics work perfectly to put all your attention into the car.

If you're looking for a great challenge to beat in a short period of time, this is your game!

A game about golfing and mid-air movement.

It's a very short yet entertaining game, with poilished mechanics and great-looking retro graphics. The length of the game won't affect the overall score, as I'm aware this game was made for a Game Jam.

The only cons I'd say this game has are that aerial movement is very hard to get used to and that some hitboxes are not accurate or function correctly.

Aside from that, it's a nice game!

A platformer with a different perspective than usual 2D platformers.

The controls are good, being able to stick to the edge of a platform makes it easier to not fall off of them and allowing better movement.

I'd say my only problems with this game are its length and the hitboxes:

  1. The length: The game feels to short, or maybe it feels like it because it's very easy and I rushed through it. Either way, the game is easily beatable in a very short time.
  2. The hitboxes: Maybe it's just a placebo effect again, but obstacle hitboxes feel too small, making the game's difficulty go way down, and altho I don't think this alone ruins the experience, it definitely made it too easy for my taste.

Still, it's a good game to beat quickly and it's perfect to take a short break.

A game with a somewhat "bullet hell" vibe without the need of a gajillion bullets on screen.

The mechanics and gameplay are interesting and the controls are very comfy. The obstacles are used very well, making an entertaining and addictive gameplay cycle without the need to introduce new obstacles constantly.

In addition, all of the levels have a B-Sides version unlockable after beating the base game for the 1st time, which provides this game with a bigger challenge if the game left you wanting more of it

A short yet entertaining platformer.

The controls feel great and polished and, despite having very few mechanics, they work great together to make some challenges.

Even if it doesn't have any dialogue, this game has a mini-plot that I find heartwarming, where you help the bird you play as reach its nest. It's not much, but I enjoy it.
