⭐⭐⭐ (Not bad, but I'm not holding onto my saves)

Most games in this category are alright, some are even decent, but none of them are memorable. This category also includes several games that aren't far enough along yet, have game breaking bugs that prevent progressing far enough, or have too much of their content pay-walled, to give them a proper verdict.

Break the curse and uncover your fire.

This is a strong basis, but it could use more fleshing out. The story is rather minimal, and while that is probably intentional, I for one would enjoy a richer narrative experience.

Despite RNG variance, the game gets repetitive fast. This is exasperated by the need to replay so often in the free demo version.

The number of "undos" is limited without spending money, but it is presented in such a way as to make it sound like "undos" are reset upon death, which they are not.

Frankly, I do not find this a good monetization model, and I have knocked one star off my rating because of it. It is virtually impossible to beat the "easy" demo. I have been trying for many hours across multiple days, and have yet to beat phase 2 of the final boss.

First farewells are always the hardest. Good thing the crew of the Donki already has a few under their belts.
