I developed Blaze Runner originally as a school project. The assignment required a first-person obstacle course where the player could fall into the void and try to beat their personal best time.
I didn't like the idea of the void, so I decided to take a different creative direction. I came up with a concept where a secret basement in a castle could be used to hold deadly races for entertainment where the main attraction was a lava pool below the main path. This led to the game's final name: Blaze Runner.
This version of Blaze Runner is an improved and more developed version of the original. It contains better visuals, a better character controller, a more attractive main menu, multiple languages, sounds, and optimization.
