Ben's Toys is a short Christmas themed indie horror game where the player is tasked with buying presents for their kids on Christmas Eve. Not sure why the protagonist left their shopping so late but hey it's adds to the atmosphere so who cares 😅 The game was made in the Godot engine, which I will admit I have little knowledge of but it does have some very neat physics. I especially liked the bouncy ball 😁

"Go! Go! Hamster Chef!" is a completely normal & adorable little game. It was made for the Spring N64 Style Graphics Jam #2 & definitely doesn't have any kind of dark twist. I 100% that you give this charming lil game a go so that you too can experience the amazingly wholesome adventure that is "Go! Go! Hamster Chef!" 😊
In all seriousness though, I had a blast playing this game & I highly recommend you give it a try for yourself. It's an adorable game with a very unique atmosphere which needs to be played to fully understand. Trust me & just go play it 😉

I really love the concept for this one 😍 Something Bad is on the Moon is a short indie horror game by Matthew Ager. The game has you, the player explore the Lunar surface to do some maintenance on a satellite array. That might not sound too scary but the thing is, you keep seeing strange things in the hills. Is it just your imagination or are those faces in the distance...?
This game has a super creepy atmosphere & though I wish there was a little more in the way of content, what is here is really good stuff. The idea of being watched or hunted by an unknown entity is scary enough & when combined with the cold expanse of Space, this concept becomes even more terrifying.
I really hope the developer decides to make more games like this because I would love to experience more in the way of space themed horror 😉 Maybe Mars could be the setting for a future game 😄

Moth House is an indie horror game by kenforest on Itch.io. What can I say about Moth House? Well first off, it's amazing & you really should give it a try! From the art style, to the atmosphere & incredible sound design; this game really has it all, in my humble opinion of course 😉
Before playing, I already had a small phobia of Moths & I can 100% say that this game has not helped me overcome that fear 😂 In all seriousness though, this game really is great & you really should play it for yourself. There are even a few different endings, which goes to show how much effort the developer has put into this little gem 😊

I really enjoyed this little game & would highly recommend anyone reading this to check it out for themselves. It took me just over 10 mins to complete so there's no reason not to give it a try 😉

The Shopping List is an indie horror game by JordiBoi on Itchio. The aim of the game is to finish buying items from your shopping list all while being stalked by a mysterious stranger...
Now for my thoughts on the game. This game does a great job building a creepy atmosphere. The characters are all super weird, & some aren't particularly friendly. This helps to create a sense that the player is not all together welcome in this town.
The story is simple but effective. It is told gradually as the game goes on & allows the player to come up with theories as to who they think the stalker/killer really is. There were a couple of, "Um okay" moments but overall it was decent.
To conclude, I really liked this game & would highly recommend it to those who like slower, story focused indie horror games.

I came across this game a few months ago & finally got round to playing it recently. I'm so glad that I did as this is definitely one of the best indie horror games I've played to date.
Endless Blue is an indie Horror game inspired by the PS1 generation & aims to emulate the style of games like Silent Hill & Resident Evil. If that doesn't peak your interest then let me tell you that this game (okay more like a demo) is completely free! Not only that but it's an exceptionally well made experience, with top notch graphics & great voice acting!
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this demo & cannot recommend it enough. I sincerely hope to see more from Mr Div, whether that's an update to this game or a new game entirely 😁

A Walk Along The Pier
If you know me, then you know I don't give into 'Pier' pressure easily... but in this case I decided to make an exception.
A Walk Along The Pier is a short indie horror game with some pretty cool themes at work. The atmosphere is creepy, the music is ominous & the plot is, not really important. As I said there isn't much of a story besides a guy trying to get home but in some cases, simplicity is key. Imo this game utilises this very well as the game leaves you wondering, "What the hell just happened?! And why did it happen?" You will be left with far more questions than answers but I think that's part of the fun.
My advice would be to give the game a go & see what you think. I know this type of game won't be for everyone but I enjoyed it for what it was.

In all seriousness though, this game was really good. It takes the premise of Slender (& the original game) & adds Shrek to the mix. Having a green Ogre chase me around the swamp with his cursed soundtrack is definitely up there with the most hilarious & terrifying things I've experienced in a game.
The game is surprisingly hard too, or at least it was for me. Maybe if I wasn't waffling the whole time, I could've concentrated long enough to find all 8 onions as well as Shrek's secret onion. Could you get all of Shrek's onions? Then why not play the game for yourself & find out ;)

Laughter in the Forest
Okay. What can I say about a meme style horror game where you're hunted by McDonald's own family friendly clown? 🤨 Well... It was actually surprisingly good 😄
I expected the game to be a standard Slender Clone where you collect drawings made by Mr McDonald's victims, but I admit I was completely wrong. Is it the best game ever made? Hell no! But it's a lot better & has more character than some triple A titles I've played in the past. It's not too long either so I'd definitely recommend you give it a play, unless you're afraid of clowns that is 🤡 😈
My only gripe was with the sprinting mechanic... The main character is so incredibly slow that he literally makes every other horror game protagonist look like Usain Bolt! And I admit I did get a little angry towards the end due to this, soz! 🙇🏼

The Man in the Park is a short Indie Horror game by Elliott Dahle on Itch.io. You are walking home late at night when you come across an old man in the Park. He is distressed & asks if you've seen his grandson Timmy. Will you help this poor old man...?
I played this game in October 2022 & it was only the second game I had played during the Halloween season. It was also my first PSX style horror game so the art style definitely intrigued me. The game itself was rather fun & there are a few different endings to be found which was pretty cool. I'd definitely recommend this one, so why not give it a go?

Forest Stairs is a short Indie Horror game by Lachlan Shelton on Itch.io. It's apparently based on an urban myth, legend or creepy pasta about a cursed Stair Case in the middle of a forest.
I played this game in October 2022 & it was a pretty creepy experience. One minute your in a forest in broad daylight then everything changes... It was a fun game to play during Halloween so I'd definitely recommend you give it a try.

Make sure it's closed is an Indie horror game by corpsepile on Itch.io. The game is supposedly based on a childhood fear the developer had & it definitely feels like this while playing. The game is only about a minute long too so there's literally no reason for you not to play it. That is unless your too scared too...
I played this game in October 2022 & I gotta say it's a pretty creepy game. Anyone who's watched or played horror games for any length of time will likely figure out the ending but either way it was fun. As I said the game is really short so play it for yourself & maybe watch my video a watch too while you at it, heh, heh.

The Bunny Graveyard is an Indie horror game by Pichón Games on Itch.io. It's an incredibly charming & equally terrifying experience that needs to be played to fully appreciate. Obviously I'd love it if you gave my video a watch but please play the game for yourself, you won't regret it.
I played this game in October 2022 & it was one of my favourite games to play during the Halloween season. The art style's incredible, the story is intriguing & the characters are mysterious as hell. It all comes together to make this Demo a real gem & I'm genuinely looking forward to playing the full game when it's released.

Low Frequency is a relatively short Indie horror game by Anjin16 on Itch.io. It takes place after a global flood which has presumably killed most of humanity. You miraculously survive & come across a small settlement of other survivors lead by a mysterious man.
I played this game back in October 2022 & it was a pretty eerie experience. The PSX style graphics & odd colour choices really give this game a creepy & post apocalyptic feel. It's not the scariest game I've played but it definitely left me with an uncomfortable feeling for a while after playing.

Music Disc 11 is a Minecraft inspired horror game by Lachlan Shelton on Itch.io. It is based on the Music Disc 11 creepy pasta & is effective in recreating the Minecraft look while still being a pretty creepy game. I played this game back in October 2022 & had a lot of fun with it, I only wish I'd have found the other ending for myself.
The game features more than one ending & an extended version which I will likely check out for myself in the future.

What can I say about Broken Through... Well Markiplier played it so that's gotta tell you something about the quality of this game.
Broken Through is an Indie Horror game by JordiBoi on Itch.io. I played this game back in October 2022 & I'm being honest when I say it was the best & scariest Indie Horror game I've played so far. The pacing is great, the scares are great & the atmosphere is phenomenal. Even if you don't want to watch someone else (*cough* me) play this then I urge you to play it for yourself, you won't regret it.

Karantiin
Karantiin is an FPS zombie survival game by Karantiin on Itch.io. It was a fun game to play & gave me some genuine heart stopping scares. The game is reasonably linear so I didn't get lost or stuck however the ending was pretty challenging so be prepared for that if you play it.
Overall I really enjoyed Karantiin & look forward to further updates from the Developer in the future.
