ROBOTS. Type in a name, get a randomized robot with a personality! :D
Create creatures simply by naming them. Attributes are randomized, and include habitat, likes and dislikes. Weirdness is encouraged.
I adore this game. It's difficult, it has very strict rules, and I'm good at it. It's addictive because it's so hard to get the hang of that you feel obligated to continue out of spite - and then you love it. It's on my list of games I pretty much play constantly. http://indiegamemag.com/holiday-playlist-bonnie-burgette/
This is a rage-tastic platformer in the same vein as Super Meat Boy but it is deceptive in it's simplicity - it's neither simple nor easy. I reviewed it and very nearly gave myself a migraine: http://indiegamemag.com/super-pixalo-review-rage-tastic-platforming/
EarthTongue is a relaxation game that takes little effort to play, but is completely charming. I kind of adore it, is what I'm saying.
Bonus: You can trade art for it! The page has more details.
Oh, look, an article about the release!: http://indiegamemag.com/create-and-control-your-own-delicate-ecosystem-in-earthtongue-now-available
