The Final Project, capstone has students creating their last portfolio piece.

Last Breath is a rogue-like survival horror game set in suburban Australia, where six random individuals have been abducted by an experienced serial killer and held captive in a facility underneath his house. The objective of the game is to escape from the underground facility, through the basement and out of the house. You will have six chances to make one successful escape attempt to save the remaining victims. However, be mindful that your actions may inadvertently result in the death of some of the victims.

During a mission to discover a new habitable planet, the passenger spaceship called The Olympus sent out a distress signal from the orbit of planet 314, code name Athena. Talon Squad has been tasked with investigating the origins of that signal. 

You play as Falcon, a member of Talon Squad, as he explores The Olympus with his team to find out what caused the distress signal, but they will soon find out that it may still be aboard...

A game where your job is probably just as boring as your real job but.. whose that?? Someone to help pass the time or maybe something more serious. ;)

In this game, you play as a barista just trying to get enough money to pay rent with the joys of being able to have fun convos with the customers that come in.

Studio 2 (Rapid Prototyping)

This is one of the rapid prototyping projects, made in 2 weeks, around the concept of Weird Input

The player is walking home after a night of partying and drinking, they have trouble walking without stumbling. 

To create this feeling, the control to move forward will randomly change to one of the arrow keys

the players goal is to reach their home as fast as they can. (timer is work in progress)

A prototype for a game called Lena and Duckie. Player's play as Lena, a yellow Dino, who is a wannabe adventurer trying to find their way to become a popular hero with their companion, Duckie!

Studio 2 (Rapid Prototyping)

This is one of the rapid prototyping projects, made in 2 weeks, around the concept of ten second loops

As the player goes through the supermarket, they will need to collect some shopping items. These will spawn next to the cart and change every 3 seconds, with the player dragging them into the cart. After ten seconds, the player will reach the checkout and their score will be tallied based on how much they filled the cart.

As the player is filling the cart, should they completely fill either a row or column, all the items that are connected to that row or column are deleted in a Tetris-style manner, and the player will have to start again to attempt to fill it.

This is one of the rapid prototyping projects, made in 2 weeks, around the concept of Voice

This is a short game prototype for one of my classes. The prompt that was provided was voice, so I am the main person creating the sound effects. There is only 4 things that weren't directly me, 3 of them were soundtracks that were soundtracks and one was a recording of my facilitator hiccupping. Assets were from the GDevelop asset store.

Studio 2 (Rapid Prototyping)

This is one of the rapid prototyping projects, made in 2 weeks, around the concept of Voice

The game will be built as a written text game with no visuals to allow players to build their own ideas of how the scenes look, as well as no pronouns used to allow for the player to build their own views of who the characters are.

Each day the player will start in bed, and must achieve all the tasks of the day before being able to go back to bed and go to sleep again. Over time, these tasks will increase and the narrative will form.

This game was made with the prompt of sensation. I decided I wanted to create a sense of being overwhelmed with the player, so I made it a horde shooter, with endless amounts of enemies that the player needs to fight back.
