Games that have nothing to do with Clash or the ocean.
Loved writing the back-and-forth banter between these two, as well as the idea of having AIs try to play wingmen (wingwomen? wingcomputers?). It was weird, it was offputting, but it was fun to make.
I should do more fan games. This was fun. I was able to use Fallout 4 to craft the NPCs, human and robot alike. Behind the scenes trivia: I was wandering around with the main robot to take pictures for the ending scene, and she lifted off like a rocket and got stuck in the skybox. Thanks, Bethesda.
Sometimes I miss my dad, who died of cancer back in 2008. This was something I wrote to work out my emotions when they decided to show up again. It was either that or be a mental wreck for days.
I worked for a computer science summer camp and had to teach Scratch. This was one of a few projects I put together to learn the program. The robot-to-human thing was kind of cool, even if it made no sense.
Remember how I said the first game was supposed to be a more-grounded AI? I threw that out the window with this one. At least I wrote a character who would eventually be the vibe that the hacker dude in Robot Detective had.
Technically my very first published game and my first game jam entry. Tried to do a slightly-more-grounded take on AI takeovers by writing a computer with no personality or higher thoughts at all working on dumb instructions. One of the few early games I am still completely happy with.
