played it twice, i'm not sure why i did, it hurt every time.
this game has such a powerful atmosphere, i found mushrooms growing on the side of a tree and accidentally walked around it for approximately 5 minutes before getting frustrated with myself for not progressing.
i want to find the people responsible for writing this game and pick apart their brains so i can exhume the inspiration for each of these paintings' narratives. hello? hello???? ?? ? ? i got brainblasted, i think. will play this again one day.
when i played this, i liveblogged my experience and it went like this: "i am severely ill"
"i have been placed into a land of cobalt earth with tripods propping up obsidian lightning rods, and there is a fabric of black static being held down behind me"
and "i just got struck twice by lightning. lightning sounds like the twinkling of stars stretched into a shrill screaming"
( very good. )
this was my first itch.io experience and needless to say, i got yoyo'd into oblivion by a wizardly yoyo master. i played it too many times trying to pick apart every dialogue option, and i'd play it again.
this game degloved me, turned my insides out, and made the entire process feel nostalgic somehow. i think i just got advertised on television during the 2009 as a children's toy. love it dearly.
