A sort of portfolio for me. These are all the games I've been involved with that you can find on itch.io. I've done other games, although they aren't uploaded on itch.io.
Made as a one-week assignment for games made from simple prompts. This one was for "a game that is impossible to lose". I loved doing the sound design for this. I did some bugtesting and general balancing work as well to make sure it was playable within our small timeframe but THE AUDIO! MWAH! That's all me, including the people in the "restaurant".
Awesome team. This was originally meant to be for Uppsala University's Arcade assignment but due to COVID we were unable to be on site and design any physical tools of play. Instead we made this charming game. I designed many of the levels in this and even wrote some of the riddles/clues for it. Then there was the QA work I did and I helped with the audio. Small team, so I was able to do a little bit of work in a lot of areas.
Pretty sure this was the first game I made, a little embarrassing but it was enjoyable to make! I did all the sound (except for the grating background music) and the long opening text that scrolls by. Admittedly a piece of it is just a parody of "The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis" from Star Wars but hey, it was a game jam and the whole gimmick relies on there being a wall of text. Pretty sure this was my first gamejam so I was still a bit green, but I'm satisfied with this the same way you look fondly back at a Minecraft parody of Gangnam Style you did with your friends when you were 12.
I did QA and a little bit of writing together with the team. Probably the first "big" game I've worked on, partially because of our absurdly big team for the Vertical Slice assignment due to some behind-the-scenes shenanigans with assignment groups not really falling together the right way. Great team, great times. I ran that boat into so many islands to make sure you didn't get stuck.
