a bunch of solo games you can play by secretly drawing one card at a time from a box you are hiding from your coworkers at your desk!! some of these require bonus tools (such as a six sided die or a coin) but i tried to pick ones that only need a little of that
honorable mentions:
- one suggested way to replace the jenga tower used in wretched & alone games involves rolling 100d6 and shrinking your pool as you go. there's a tool you can do that with here
- any given descended from the queen game is just a bunch of card prompts; not all of them necessarily work as solo but a bunch probably do, including the original
not a solo game but very easily playable as one
uses a d6. this one asks for a few cards at a time but you could very easily draw one, write down the result, draw the next, and so on until you've got them all and you're ready to write your journal entry. there are like a million hacks of this with various themes too
not strictly a solo game but can be played as one. also it's like my favorite game of all time so i'm always gonna recommend it if i can LOL. also asks for use of a d6
this one's mine lol sorry
anything using the same system (the epistolary solo rpg system) as this should work too!
also a princess sword game
also a princess sword game
this one also asks for a coin flip sometimes. it's the same base system as a couple others in here too
this one does ask you to use multiple cards sometimes BUT in a way where you could easily still just do it one at a time imo; ex. you need multiple cards for each dungeon to determine encounters within but you could easily draw one, take brief notes, and repeat until you're done and then write your journal entry
