Capstone

The Final Project, capstone has students creating their last portfolio piece.

Aspiring to make the world a better place, Zeke, following in the footsteps of his Father, leads a reinforcement deployment from his home country of Galla to support him in the front lines, seeking to earn Honour and Glory by fighting alongside him. When asked to murder a defenceless villager, a choice costs him more than just his arm, but his sense of purpose and direction. 

Chains of Fate was not able to be completed to a playable state and this instead comprises of a body of individual contributions as a showcase.

Studio 3 focuses on narrative and cinematic experiences with a focus on persuasion or emotional impact.

DisOrder tries to emulate the hardships that someone suffering with Depersonalisation/Derealisation disorder may feel when engaging in everyday activities such as hanging out with other socially. It does this through the symbolism of feeling small, as if the world around you is not your own, perhaps even unreal. Fighting off negative thoughts while collecting positive thoughts that were once prevalent in your mind can help to free you of these terrible perceptions.

A memorable odyssey is a first person narrative game focusing on the therapeutic use of psychedelics' for mental health. 

After taking psilocybin magic mushrooms, David challenges himself to engage with past memories in hopes of regaining a more positive outlook on life. However, David begins to realise that objects around his house can trigger both positive and negative memories, influencing the trips visuals and strength. David intends to end the trip on a positive note, though he realises that negative memories can also effect the trips ending.

Triage is a first-person simulation game that demonstrates the massive undertaking and stress nurses experience on a daily basis. 

You are a nurse at the hospital working in the emergency department.

Your task is to attend to patients one at a time by reading through their symptoms, deciding on the severity and the urgency of patient symptoms. You will then send the patient to either a hospital bed, putting the patient in the waiting room or sending them home.

Music-Driven game: This project was designed around capturing the experience of a piece of music provided by our music production students.

Cordyceps is a horror survival game with a Fixed-Camera System and retro art style. The game is made in Unreal Engine 4 and uses downgrades assets to create a retro PSP look. The player is tasked with finding 2 objective items within a survival map section without being killed by the monster. The main objective is to protect the little girl that the player finds once arriving in the village and kill the monster by stopping the music.

Abraca-dog-bra is a game full of minigames where you as a witch must help cure a dog you find in the woods and then take him to a village to cheer him on in the competition he has always dreamed of winning.
