This was a week long game jam turned 4 month project and really the first game I ever worked on with others. I met Brian Nielsen here and he has been my game dev partner for the last 2 years. We have vowed to return to this game with Bill once we find success/experience elsewhere.
This was an unfinished short game that was developed with members of the Maine Video Game Developer meetup I founded. There was a strange appetite to work on a game as a massive group (we had about 18 people at the time) and though I tried to abstain and warned against it, I didn't want to kill their enthusiasm. After couple worthwhile meetings contributors fell away and barely any progress was made. After a few months of trickling work I invited the survivors to my house to try and finish it out. We were ultimately unsuccessful but I had a good time grilling for everyone and catching up.
