A brilliant fan remake of Master of Orion 1!
Royal Bounty HD is an excellent retro game similar to King’s Bounty and the Heroes of Might & Magic games of old. It originally started off as a ‘game within a game’ inside the awesome and Palm Kingdoms 2 (also on Itch). In the end the designers decided to expand and greatly enhance RB into an entirely separate game in HD!
RBHD was primarily designed as a mobile game (Ios & Android) however it is also available on Windows PC & Mac and looks great even on big screens! If you’re a big HoMM and King’s Bounty fan then I strongly recommend you check this game and the Palm Kingdoms series out as they have a very HoMM2 feel but with many interesting improvements either new/original or taken from later HoMM games. Palm Kingdoms 2 (formerly known as Palm Heroes) is a brilliant game similar to the classic Heroes of Might & Magic games which I love!! PK2 was originally a mobile game but is now available on Windows PC & Mac supporting modern HD resolutions. If you’re a big HoMM fan then I strongly recommend you check this game series out as it has a very HoMM2 feel to it but with many interesting improvements either new/original or taken from later HoMM games. I also recommend you have a go at the awesome ‘Divine Status’ super XL map for a real classic HoMM style slaughterathon! Even though it was cancelled I still live in hope that the dev will resurrect the Pk3 project one day! Check out my 2 part video review of PK2 here:
