I love both of the games that this game refers to, and I really think it honers its idols. I couldn't stop playing when I first begun. The gameplay is really crisp and the sound too. The graphics are simple, but not ugly, and all in all it's fairly impressive considering that it's made over a night, as the developer writes.
I sometimes hit the wall, both with bullets and the character, when I'd think that I wouldn't, and the music could use some variation, though it's a quite nice track. Those points along with the graphics could be improved a little, but that doesn't stop me from really liking this game. The price tag of zero nothing is rather pleasing too.
