putting games, comics and books on this list that i like and 'reviewing' them. i just like talking about things that interest me-
what an interesting concept for a horror game. surreal and highly disturbing
i didn't write something about this for a while because i...really just had no words that would exactly describe this experience.
first of all, extremely well-written in each different point of view. i almost had to read everything twice to really understand what was going on, but nonetheless it was an incredibly interesting experience. i read (almost) all of it in one sitting and i was so sucked in to these character's lives and stories, they all felt so fleshed out.
speaking of pixel art horror games...the art and animation of the FAITH games are beautiful and also horrifying.
also apparently all the characters were confirmed bisexual by the creator so that's neat, i mean we all knew John was fruity. it's always those dang priests.
god, this one is so good. i love elijah and oliver too much
pixel art horror games are seriously a work of art.
i love the "meant to be together trope" and the "I'd always choose you in every lifetime" when it's done especially beautifully. and this was so heartwarming, i loved it so much :') <3
this has to be one of the cutest games i've ever played omgg it made me feel so warm and fuzzy and my gay little heart was screaming the whole time askdjffn <333
even though i wasn't familiar with a lot of games in this art book, the art is still absolutely gorgeous <3
i'm surprised how much i related to this on such a deep level. this most accurately describes how my trans experience has been for me tbh, and it's such a refreshing take. the music and the story was beautiful.
there's something terrifying about people being turned into amalgamations of puppets or toys and you can still see them alive in there. in constant pain. unsettles the hell out of me when it's done right.
this game made me very interested in it's story. the atmosphere and especially the sound design was really well done. very fascinating.
Also forgot this one was on itch.io!
This game will always hold a special place in my heart. Not only does it have great humor, lovely visuals and soundtrack, but I love experiencing the story again and again to spend time with the characters and the journey they go through. There is so much nostalgia and relatability here for me :) I will protect these characters with my life
Didn't know this was on itch.io, so I didn't add it here until now
This is one of the best horror games I have ever experienced and it absolutely nails the horror and sense of dread. Not to mention the sound design is fucking astounding. The story it tells through the environment is incredibly interesting as well. Love it.
it's SO cool to see the Mystery Flesh Pit in video game form! this perfectly captured the absolute horror that is this massive entity. really unsettling.
the writing in this is beautiful. the character's interactions were so raw and human and i loved it. left me feeling sad and empty but in a good way.
this was incredibly heartbreaking, heartwarming, and wayyy too relatable. the art style is so soft and comforting.
BEEEEEAAAAAANNNNSSSSSS
they had no right making this game look this realistic because god damn it looks good
this game is beautiful. it's so captivating in its story, writing and characters and visuals. it left me with a pain i couldn't describe but it was very well done.
its always gotta be the trans-focused visual novels that are bittersweet and absolutely fucking gut wrenching at the same time
it may sound weird at first, but this was honestly a very interesting read and they made a lot of good points!
new Lixian game that's really well done with good Iron Lung style horror and mechanics?? heck yes this is awesome
this is a gem. it's very cozy and each character is so lovely <33
Aleth is my favorite, bless their sweet little heart :)
this is one of the most AMAZING visual novels I've EVER come across!! i am in love with this. i've fallen in love with it's characters and story, atmosphere and plot that are all so fleshed out, and there are so many choices you can make that branch off to SO many story arcs. there's SO much detail and craft put into this and i cannot wait for more! :D
Stella and Reese are my faves <33 (Reese is currently my pfp bc that's what i do when i fixate on characters. they become my pfp lol.)
this is a good time. cozy, funny and a lil bit spooky with lovely little characters 馃槍
it's just a goofy game and i will love it forever
cuuute. so very very cute. just a couple of friends bein wholesome guys
oof, this hit me. as someone who isn't sure exactly who or what they are yet and still likes things that are associated with my assigned gender, this was very relatable.
like many i first saw this from Mark lol
the most expansive game Nami has made imo. i love the unique style of the gameplay and art. the ending was bittersweet (but mostly sweet) and made me cry because i'm an emotional baby. very heartfelt story that had a delightful payoff.
really cute (but dark) vn. the main reason i'm adding this here though is because of the character. i've been obsessed with them a lot for some reason it might be gender envy who knows-
this being fully voice acted really brought this to life. i have a soft spot for topics about the inevitability of death and what comes after, and how we'll spend our days not knowing when one might be our last. this game is short and simple, but beautiful.
also, i love that Deaths name is "Mori," that's a nice touch :')
i don't know what it is about this but yeah
a fun lil experience about being a queer person trapped in a grocery store :)
