Sometimes we just want some mindless fun and that's exactly what I have here! Just some simple random blurbs I have and played at my own leisure~ They're all varied with no specific theme on mind other than they were short, simple, and good~! ♪(´▽`)
You can also say it's my dumping ground of other games that have not fully made its way to my more theme oriented collections but despite saying that it does not mean the games here are any bad unless I explicity state the difficulties I encountered while playing it! Every game here can be your little hidden gem if you look around and experience it~ Do pace yourself and don't be like me where you put so many games in a collection.... Yeah, speaking from experience... (´。_。`)
Well, it is simple in execution however it is not simple in solving puzzle. It made me really think outside the box and have the patience of a saint in order to complete it, but strangely enough I didn't feel like I would rage more less was antsy at how long it was. It has a simple meaning with understandable values and though I don't practice minimalistic approaches, I do find myself acknowledging the points the game makes. If you have a lot of time to kill, want a simple yet challenging game to pass the time, while also somehow being relaxing, this game is the right one for you!
It's a very simple typing game with cute and straightforward visuals and is very calming, there's no action or climax you need to hype up for, just some nice music and typing. Very calming!
I would have put it in my Cozy Games I've Already Played but the game is pretty simple and challenging. Patience is your friend for this one and while I would have loved to play more I'm satisfied with just one level, if you want something simple to chill with you could try this game!
I would have put this is in my Cozy Games I've Already Played collection but it's actually a pretty confusing game, which is a shame given how absolutely cute, wholesome looking it is with the music (though you can't control the volume in the game) and the premise is very promising, what it lacks is clear instructions and a proper tutorial on how to work things out, especially without a save/load button (which makes you reload the page just to replay it all over again) and a history button (so that you can reread the symptoms of the cats). If you want to know how to properly play it you can look through the comments for my explanation! It's a genuinely good game but there's a lot of hardships that could have been easily solved if it was properly explained...
I wasn't exactly sure where to put this game because there were three routes on how this game would go by and I went with the wholesome route instead of the others, but if I put this in my Cozy Games I've Already Played it would be a mislabel so instead I'll put it here, highly recommend to check out the other options~!
I was thinking of putting this in the Rip Out My Heart Why Won't You but I didn't feel all that sad, just melancholic. I think it's because we weren't given much information about the MC and the short time actually impeded on it, however the artstyle is very nice with its watercolor texture and the message of the game is sad but lovely, a great game!
It's an adorable text game with images about you meeting a siren, it has cute visuals and a very nostalgic feeling of the part where you would think of these fantastical worlds in your imagination as a child. I'm looking forward to new updates on this~!
It's quite a jarring game at first since the instructions aren't all that clear but it can be fun if you like to type on the keyboard other than that you may encounter difficulties as well as headaches if you aren't into these type of games... As if there is another game as unique as this is. Sadly there isn't a pause button so everything goes by super fast but it does help you with your typing skills. It just gets a bit tiring, but it is enjoyable.
Quite an adorable simple game about matching cake preferences to "interesting" people, it sparks upon me ideas and I'm glad I had the chance to play this game!
It's a short game made in 4 days but the premise is cool and something I've been inspired by. Nice to help kill some time or soothe a headache in my opinion~!
It's actually quite challenging and I wanna do this again, great game!
It's a game I've never played before! It's really cool albeit a bit confusing, but as I kept clicking through the texts to unveil more texts I began to see the bigger picture, almost like puzzle pieces formed the final picture! It was a delight to read!
It's a fun little game about making your own small world in a small dome, flask, bottle, or this weird potion looking bottle. Admittedly I would have liked more options but it's a fun game to unwind.
I would have put it in my Cozy Games I've Already Played but it's missing something... That and I didn't like it there wasn't an option to lower the volume of the music or sound. Also it's a short but nostalgic trip to what it would have been like to message a friend, of ocurse it doesn't speak for all but it certainly lends itself to the vibe.
If you want to play it, highly recommend you downloading it because the one in the browser version is a hard head that won't let you click no matter how hard or how many you try. It is a short game but the plot progression did not go the way I expected it to be, other than that it is an enjoyable experience sans the frustration of trying to click something.
I would have put it in either my Cozy Games I've Already Played or Rip Out My Heart Why Won't You but sadly there wasn't much plot going on and it was a short game, there is a lot of potential but other than the surface level information we never did learn more about the character and her relationships and life in more detail. Still there is promise and I love the style of it, it's a wonderful short game.
A fun little game about pressing the keys on your keyboard to get a little tune, admittedly I'm not great at music composing but I loved to follow through in the comments. Highly recommend you to try and to also put your works in the comments so more people get to know how to play some songs.
This simple room generator requires you to think creatively outside of what you normally think about, check out the comment section. There's a lot of great inspiration over there~
Despite being a simple game it's pretty impactful, of course there are some serious themes in it but it felt atmospheric to me and somehow quiet and somber. I sincerely hope anyone who understands this game a "everything will be okay as long as you keep on moving so the bad things won't get to you until you're ready".
It's a simple game about trying to confess to your best friend. It doesn't have too much risks but it's an endearing game with an adorable plotline, very good~!
It's a cool visual novel with small fighting to make choices which is something I've never seen before and I think it's amazing! Though I am pissed off by the mother character, like jesus your son is literally 24 not fucking 50 and when I chose the option "I have someone I like" she instantly goes "Go and confess!" and then pulls a "Bring back a girlfriend" when I haven't even confessed yet! And like the whole thing with the grandchild comment??? Your son is still working in a cafe at 24 of all things, I doubt he'd be financially stable enough to support a wife and/or a kid! Ughhh it just ticks me off but the game is lovely! I just hate people like... The mom character. Still, recommend it nonetheless.
It's a simple game and the artstyle is so cute, the story is one of misunderstandings but with the flames fanned out. It was actually creepy at some parts which is pretty cool ahaha
Although it has its creepy moments and what with how well written it is for such a short game on short notice, I had to put it here because well, it was simple. But the story is intriguing and the character is great despite how adverse I became as the story progressed on and had a wonderful twist that even I didn't notice! Great game!
I thought I'd put it here instead of my Time To Get A Heart Monitor collection because strangely enough I didn't get THAT scared but it was creepy, however the fast paced and randomness of it kinda overshadowed the creepy element and the story was confusing for me, like I didn't know what was going on, it was still enjoyable to play through. Though I did mistake Akano as a female which my bad.
It's a short and simple piece but I really like the character design and the character himself! Made me leave in a good mood and one where I'm excited to see him if ever the developer will expand on his character, story, and game~! Can't wait to chat with this adorable AI~~
It's just a nice and calming game about talking to someone in the landromat, it doesn't have too much plot to be super deep but enough to keep you hooked and staying within the space, a nice game.
So far it's a short but the premise is interesting and I'm willing to keep an eye out on it!
Lmao I answered all of them correctly but I know the best experience is when you're wrong but I just needed a simple game to get my mind off of my stress so I just did everything right. Fun, simple, and nice of a game!
A nice relaxing moment that helped quell the ache in my head. Nice to listen and just close my eyes to.
It's not that much of a simple game since it has great mechanics but as of now it kinda is a simple game in terms of story telling, though I would just say it's because it's still in the early stages of productions, it has promise!
