Sometimes we just want some mindless fun and that's exactly what I have here! Just some simple random blurbs I have and played at my own leisure~ They're all varied with no specific theme on mind other than they were short, simple, and good~! ♪(´▽`)
You can also say it's my dumping ground of other games that have not fully made its way to my more theme oriented collections but despite saying that it does not mean the games here are any bad unless I explicity state the difficulties I encountered while playing it! Every game here can be your little hidden gem if you look around and experience it~ Do pace yourself and don't be like me where you put so many games in a collection.... Yeah, speaking from experience... (´。_。`)
Heed the warnings but so far the demo is quite short as it seems to only establish the basic who, where, and why the protagonist starts out in the story. I'm honestly curious to see more but so far there doesn't seem to be any plans for the creator to continue due to the lack of news which is such a shame.
Very simple little VN but the visuals are quite lovely to watch and the scenario is quite interesting. And also I am a very biased woman because hello do you see Valentin???
It's really short but it has a lot of potential, especially with how ruthless Ryan can be. I feel like there could be more depth between not just Ryan and MC's relationship but also the history of how the two ended up as friends and so on. But since it's pretty short I do think it's easy to get swept up with it since the pacing is so fast without any added moments.
It's a pretty fun VN and the yandere-ness is pretty subtle in one of the characters, so far the introduction between the two characters (most notably for Merlin since with Cain we don't really get to know too much intimate details about him) and I have to say that I enjoy the conversations written between each characters.
It's pretty short since it's supposed to be a VN in the making, but it already has a remake so I decided to try it out just to see the improvement and I have to say, it's really cute and cliche in an endearing way. I was pretty into the personality the MC has, that hopeless romantic kind of vibe I get from them and Davis is pretty intriguing with his cool guy attitude. Looking forward to what the remake has to offer~!
It's quite short but it gives off a more lowkey vibe of Peter, the way he wasn't the least bit remorseful but still kept clinging to Y/N and pretending to be "sorry" for the sake that he could be close to them was quite on brand. It also just gave me such nostalgic vibes.
This game has mild descriptions of gore and blood though you don't notice it at all. Made by the amazing catsket through the demon verse they've created, it seems like they'll stop continuing the series but this entry was really great in its subtle unhinged madness and how trippy it feels. Despite how short it feels, it really brings you into a headspace where you feel confused and disoriented. It may just be my religious trauma but do with it as you will.
It has warnings for strong language and character death, it's pretty curious as you have these ideas on what will happen to the story but despite that it still makes a great impact at the ending after all the build up. The visuals and voice acting was done really well to immersive the player into the atmosphere, highly recommend trying it out!
Honestly, putting it here seems like a travesty since it's well-made for being a game jam. Not just that but the visuals, story telling, and design is so well-thought out! The mystery itself is curious but with enough context clues it gives you a vague idea of what happened. It utilizes the game jam rules well to conceal or explain away some things that can't be explained to which I highly recommend trying it out since it's so short.
Very much enjoyed the experience I got playing this~!
It's a really short VN and may seem repetitive however it does quickly tug on heart strings when you realize what's happening. Also the circus freak show act is never great morality wise.
The voice acting was really nice, felt a lot more dramatic and intense as well as great visuals. The storytelling was curious and felt complete with a promise for more. Highly recommend experiencing this~!
It had some eerie vibes but honestly the character wasn't too intimidating as she honestly looked gorgeous in the art style, but the story was pretty interesting and curious.
Honestly, this dude knows he has pretty privileges and he is INSUFFERABLE about it. It's pretty short since it is a VN jam but it's honestly great as the character really makes it interesting. The setting is pretty curious as it's a great set up for the lover to exes to enemies but the VN seems to take a different approach. There's a sequel to this and honestly I'm curious to see more of it!
It's a pretty quick but fun visual novel about the god of love and the god of requited love/avenger of unrequited love. Quite the mouthful but I for sure enjoyed the storytelling aspect.
It's not really well made as the pacing does feel rushed and while there is much to the characters as implied, due to how rushed it felt we don't really get to see these characters' past or actions really unfold. But despite that it was really fun and relaxing in a strange way to play through this!
It does tell a creepy dentist story but it's not more so about the dentist but the rather twisted and compelling story about the MC's fixation and obsession with teeth as well as his general apathy (somewhat) towards other people. I honestly really like how the story was played out and since the vibe was very immersive with not too many gorey details or visuals, I do think it's a pretty interesting IF.
Though the ending felt a bit bland, the build up was really good and was handled really well.
This is quite a short demo but it lays an interesting foundation with our male MC being the victim of stalking but his acknowledgment that he won't be able to stop the harassment because of his gender which I feel like is an interesting take.
The male MC himself isn't much to interesting, he's the stereotypical cold princely and sporty guy but I'm looking forward for him to develop a bit more as a character! Meanwhile the angel (yandere LI) is only shown given an entrance so much isn't known, I just hope he isn't the harassing type of LI because given how the MC already is, I'd feel like it would be more annoying but provide more conflict for the MC.
I have to say that it was honestly a lot of fun. Even though I had a difficult time with the last riddle I enjoyed myself genuinely looking for the answers within the 5 out of 6 riddles there were.
Highly recommend to give this a try (pls do comment what the answer is on the very last riddle, it's killing me I have no idea what it is).
It was short but honestly the highlight of this VN HAS to be the interaction of Zachanjel (bring justice to this name) and MC because they bicker like children and it is the funniest shit I've ever witnessed. They don't have that romantic chemistry but what they do have is the mutual feelings of wanting to punch the other which I very much respect.
Honestly, I really did enjoy myself despite my inability to commit to finding the different endings and routes for the VN. I just love how the art turned out, the music was really calming, and the overall story (from how I played as Ending 3) was pretty simple but interesting, especially learning about weed and marijuana use, small safety concerns, and so on. Pretty much enjoyed myself playing this.
Highly recommend trying this one out, I really feel like it's worth your time playing through!
It's a pretty short demo but it does have an eerie feel within the domestic scenes we are seen. Right off the bat we can already tell that MC is in a very disadvantegous position what with her amnesia and seemingly cut off isolation. Adam himself is pretty much a harmless looking man who seems to be the only source of comfort for MC which is quite dangerous for someone like MC being trapped in this situation.
It has a lot of promise so I hope more news can be updated within this project!
Since it's a yandere game, I was about to put it in Time To Get A Heart Monitor but not much was happening (since of course it's a demo) but I think it'll work here since the creator is currently going through college so they're quite busy (they also plan on revamping the VN since they weren't knowledgeable on making VNs in the first place).
The visual novel itself follows the same concept of your usual yandere visual novels but I gotta say, I really like the artstyle to it and I love to see the small instances where Rai slips up and we see how he fabricates almost everything, not only that but reading through it, I got the sense that either Rai is manipulating events in order to gain MC or he has insane luck, if he has both that's honestly terrifying but an extremely lucky yandere?? Now that's a concept. Either way, looking forward to see what'll happen next!
It's a yandere game, whoop de doo, but it's in its demo stages. Not much is happening aside from introducing the LIs to us and honestly I like them. We see one LI that is pretty overt with their yandereness to us as the audience/player, while the other is more subtle that you wouldn't really pick up unless you checked the game page. Aside from that, I really enjoyed how it was flowing, especially that ending where it took me by surprise and I had pleasant goosebumps from that.
Right now, there's not a lot to it but I am looking forward to its development!
As of now this only has a Vietnamese version that I just used Google Translate to use and understand, so far, from what I can glean it's the typical sort of amnesia plot but I love the fun banter between Zavier and MC. The lamb/goat symbolism at the start is also interesting because there is a sort of foreshadowing between these two.
I'm curious how it will expand, but so far I enjoyed myself with it even though I had to patiently translate all these texts ahahaha
I have to say it is simple as in it's a short kinetic visual novel, I came in with not much expectations and left feeling a little bit flustered but also satisfied with how complete it feels. I only felt flustered because of how intimate and close the two protagonists, Andrey and Zecheriahs, are to one another and you can really tell there is a history between them.
With such a short story, it told a full story and while it seemed aimless, it felt like a glimpse of just who these characters are. Honestly, I found myself enjoying it!
This was an interesting visual novel. It portrayed a sense of loss and listlessness very well especially with the hurt Madison is experiencing. Her facial expressions suit the somber tone and aren't overly exagerated so I like the angle they went for.
Not only that, but I have to say I admire the way it teased us playfully about the main game, unveiling quite a bit to what I assume is one of the main villains but not enough that we're fully spoiled. It's quite curious to see through the perspective of the other side especially to someone who isn't one of the main big bad guy. Gives it more depth.
Anyway, great work with this one~!
It has quite the unique premise world building wise but it also has a lot of potential in traveling through different dimensions. I like how it brings a sense of ambiguity of what the future of the story holds, and it has a really ambient sound to it.
It's quite the curious visual novel, the plot is interesting and leaves you enough to be curious about but also feels very complete for being a prologue. It also has nice cozy looking aesthetics which is really nice to the eye.
I like the premise of this story, from my run I didn't experience anything scary aside from the entity's curiousity and testing of MC's conviction. I think it highly depends on how you answer the entity which is very cool to see a lot of different options able to squeeze in through this jam.
A short visual novel with a suspicious maid who seems harsh and insensitive to the master, actually shows herself to be capable of gaining connections to help the MC despite her initial actions. I enjoyed going through it despite retaining the same frustration MC had initially.
This was honestly quite interesting, I loved the character's unhinged yet casual behavior and how they casually go "Whoopdeedoo surprise! You alive again!" I feel like talking to this kind of character would never make me bored because while the essence of his words reminds me of my same values and thoughts, the way he can go off the rails really makes you sit back and go "Huh".
It's honestly a fun dynamic, especially wrapped up in just a jam!
