Ah yes, here we are. For a scaredy cat I sure love to torture myself-- I did say I am interested in yandere visual novels but I am also interested in creepy games where I don't move so I'm stuck in one place, that way I won't feel the need to scream if I have to move a millimeter. Believe me, I can scream just from moving one inch o(TヘTo)
Other than that, don't expect too much horror here, if I did play one I'm pretty sure I'd full on die. That or I'd quit midway because my own heart can't handle the stress of whatever monstrosity I decided to foolishly play.... ( ノ ゚ー゚)ノ
I've also belatedly put in which games are for 18+ and which may be for 16+ with content warnings since I completely forgot to do it. Admittedly I didn't think anyone would check out but with the amount of times I've unknowingly spammed people who follow me with my activity, I thought I should wise up and give the appropriate warning, especially for minors.
This Visual Novel is intended for 17+ audience with content warnings such as: Yandere behavior (stalking, obsession, manipulation, harassment, and violent tendencies), self-harm, blood, violence, suggestive themes, sudden tone shifts, and other material made to induce fear. These were taken directly from the game description, please be advised, only play when you're the intended age, and play at your own risk.

Listen right here, I am LIVING for manipulative yanderes who take advantage of the MC's kindness and this??? This right here is the topping of the ice or some shit. Like holy hell just at the first stages he already managed to manipulate the MC to gain their sympathy, understanding, and care and being able to get inside their house and forming a connection like, wow, that is just genuinely amazing. And terrifying. But mostly amazing. I also love the MC, they genuinely have their own thoughts and there's a valid reason for their fear and suspicion but with how I play them they became more kind and understanding which, I genuinely hope Devyn won't kill them off because I've also grown attached to the MC-- Ahhh I can't wait for the game!
It doesn't explicitly state whether or not this game is intended for 18+ audience but with its subject matter it should be for 18+. The content warnings for this visual novel are as such: depictions of mental instability and mentions of animal death, there are more spoilers but they can spoil the full game so check on your own discretion. These were taken directly from the game description, please be advised, and play at your own risk.

This is a great yandere game purely because while playing I genuinely forgot Liev was a yandere until the last second where he became unhinged at the high affection I managed to garner from him. Like, just talking, listening, and understanding him was enough to make him unhinged?? What on earth happened to him... The characters are so intriguing it makes me curious about their past and the MC is such a breath of fresh air I love them so much! I'm so excited to see where this goes on and I love the game, yes including the slightly disturbing imagery, shock factor, and whatnot I think it really is jarring after seeing Liev's "sweet side" which is great since they're using it carefully~ Aaaa looking forward to the game!
EDIT:
Holy shit just finished the full game and ya'll it is absolutely wonderful. Like, it's no hero worship or joke it's genuinely amazing. There are threats of violence towards other people but no actual violence is committed so there isn't much gore. The real horror comes from the fact that Liev is a mentally unstable individual who had an incredibly harsh past that changed him in the worst ways. The VN does a great job in presenting it without dumping character exposition all of a sudden.
Highly recommend playing it and then doing your best to get all endings, Liev's connection to the MC isn't superficial at all and MC themselves is a great character with genuinely appealing reasoning and can easily be sympathized with. It's just a great yandere VN with a great True Ending that gives you actual hope for their future~!
It doesn't explicitly state whether it's for 18+ audience but with the nature of some of the routes, it's best to say it's for 18+ for its content warnings such as: Violence, Blood, Mild gore, Self-harm, Suicide, Killing, and Death. These were taken directly from the game description, please be advised, only play when you're the intended age, and play at your own risk.

Even though I put this here I didn't actually get scared because I was quite understanding and kind to Strawberry and I didn't want to hurt her anymore than that. But the game doesn't fit anywhere else in my collections so I'll put it here because technically it is a somewhat horror visual novel, I just didn't explore anymore because my girl Strawberry deserves all the love!!
It doesn't explicitly state whether or not it's for 18+ audience but it is a pretty atmospheric horror rich story with amazing usage of tense moments and unneasiness. Please be advised, and play at your own risk.
--------------------------------
This truly deserves in this collection because my heart was going haywire. It was so atmospheric that I felt genuinely scared that someone was just right there, especially when I DON'T EVEN HAVE A WINDOW IN MY ROOM. My god, there are no jumpscares, there's only a lot of atmospheric creepiness.
It doesn't explicitly state whether or not it's for 18+ audience in the game description, but I can only infer it to be for 16+ (tentative). The content warnings are as follows: swearing, threatening behaviour, kidnapping & imprisonment, and general yandere shenanigans! Please be advised, and play at your own risk.
------------------------------------
It's not that bad of a scary game however there were some intense parts that really made me question the thought process of these characters, it was really interesting seeing how they were self aware of the distubring behavior but only when it's about their respective rival. Pretty hilarious yet disturbing to see how rational it can be. A wonderful visual novel to sit back and enjoy the disturbing contents with great voice acting!
It doesn't explicitly state whether or not it's for 18+ audience but due to the nature of the content warnings it can be inferred that it's for 18+ (unless you aren't easily disturbed and are realistic/mature enough). The content warnings are as follows: body horror, murder, gore, dismemberment, slight trypophobia, and very bad grammar and spelling (these are for the full game and taken directly from the game description) but from my personal playthrough it contains blood, violence, dissociation, disturbing images, jumpscares, and typical yandere shenanigans. Please be advised, and play at your own risk.
---------------------------------------
It's actually really good albeit it feels a bit lacking and kind of empty, there were moments where I really did get unnerve and scared. However the wrong grammar and punctuations did throw me out of the immersion, it was still a good play nonetheless.
EDIT: As of now, the creator is going to put Pocket Lover under a hiatus due to them personally not like the visual novel, especially since it was their first time creating one. But they do state they may hopefully pick it up in the future when they are better experienced.
This Visual Novel is intended for 18+ audience with content warnings such as: themes of sexual and violent content. Please be advised, only play when you're the intended age, and play at your own risk.

For a small demo it's given me what I need to know about the game. I love the artstyle and the writing, the dialogue was nice flow and the stranger was quite endearing in just a short time.
EDIT: It got an extended Demo with two more days, two other characters, and learning more about Alan! It was a treat to be able to play it and experience more about this world and the story! Though I do recommend downloading it instead of playing the browser version because when I tried to play on the browser version it just showed an error message. I'm so glad I went to the extra mile and downloaded it because it was quite endearing to know more about the story!
This Visual Novel is intended for 18+ audience with content warnings such as: unreality, murder, blood, gore, emotional manipulation, domestic abuse, familial abuse, dubious consent (supernatural influence/seduction), and workplace abuse. Please be advised, only play when you're the intended age, and play at your own risk.

Well as of now it's a demo and it's for 18+ please, but holy hell the premise?? The characterization? The story??? I love it and it makes me crave for more! And kudos to Jack's voice actor, how the hell was he able to say it all out while I'm here getting flustered as all hell! But dammit I fell hard for Jack's charm... And getting creeped out so kudos to everyone like seriously holy hell.
EDIT: It got an Extended Demo and HOLY CRAP there's a lot more to it! Okay, probably not that much since it does keep the basic story but there are extra content with fully illustrated scenes (yes even that one), extra things you can get when you complete the game, new updated voice acting for all characters, the ending of the game explaining a little bit more of Jack's... tendencies, a mega sprite update, KITTY CAT, the textbubbles and borders are different now, the title screen also has more stuff in it, one mini game thing which I will complete properly and get Jack to like! And being able to know a little bit more about our ex-boyfriend, Ian!
Though I'd like to be a save and load option especially because of how long the demo is now so I could go to specific scenes... Well it's still fine with me. After all! New content!
It doesn't explicitly state whether or not this game is for 18+ audience in its game description but from what I can infer it can be for 16+, as long as you aren't easily disturbed. The content warnings are as follows: descriptions of gore and violence. Please be advised, and play at your own risk.

It's not that bad and the secret was actually surprising with the MC, prior to their secret being revealed, being realistic and not that helpless. However it gets a bit redundant and the skip button doesn't seem to be working properly and the dialogue is actually really slow even though I put the text speed all the way to the right. It has a good premise but for me it becomes a bit too redundant. Great game though~!
EDIT: So I played through it a bit more and hey! It's actually really good, the first part is a bit of a drag but as you commit more it becomes more interesting!
It's your typical horror game that's built solely on atmosphere, the real action only happens at the end so please be advised.
----------------------------------
I question my sanity on why I even played this. It's not your usual horror game as it is rather built on atmosphere. It actually got the name of my device rather than my name so it did help calm me down but oh boy the ending, I made sure to block that sucker with my windows AHAHAHAH
This Interactive Fiction doesn't explicitly state whether or not it's for 18+ audience but it does contain content warnings such as: stalking and atmospheric horror. Please be advised and play at your own risk.

I played this with my sound down because I have class soon and I didn't want to be scared but even with my sound down I still got chills with these questions and even the answers. I will update on what happens when you have the audio on and earphones but as of now wonderfully disturbing without much jumpscares and it does have genuine tension! Though it might vary from person to person since I am a scaredy cat, I still love this premise, very inspired by it hehe.
