After eight hours of playtime, nothing in the story had made me want to help, talk to, or spend time with any of the characters. I had to literally suppress my gag-refles when I chose to spend time with Teresa because of how thoroughly unlikable she is.

The main character in this game is not the character you play, but Melanie, your adopted older sister who either has to permit or order the playable character to do everything, otherwise it won't happen. And for being her slave, the playable character gets the honor of being degraded, humiliated, ordered around by Melanie.
The story says you are the God of Creation, and you are travelling in time to solve something, yet Melanie is the one who makes all the decisions, and either permits the playable character to do something he wants, or orders him to do something he doesn't, in return for the privilege of eternal servitude to the Main Goddess, Melanie. Which the story tells us is nothing more than a regular human.
For some reason, people seems to like this game, but I can't understand why, because the quests/story is more convoluted than 90s-era LucasArts games, where you have to give a fish salesman coal to buy a squid to put in an outhouse so a character loses a key, and the minigames require a cheat guide to complete, even at the lowest, and supposedly easiest levels.
The artwork of the women IS great, that's not in question, but there's nothing about their personalities that entice you to know them better either, so why bother being their slave when they're boring and demanding, and don't have any other qualities than visual qualities?

This game is best summed up with the encounter with Falesha: You have to be a spineless slave and fucktoy to every bitch you meet, doesn't matter if she is a complete stranger you met five minutes ago, because if you refuse to help her, it is game over. Literally. The creator actually kills you/restarts the game if you don't immediately bow down to every bitch you meet and obey her every command.
The creator even has the nerve to berate you for refusing to help a pretty girl. What pretty girl? Falesha is barely a shadow in shadows, we haven't even been able to see her face or body, because she is a black woman, wearing black clothes on a black background, in a VERY dimly lit cafe, and she has been barely visible for six lines of text. We don't know the character at all, we haven't even been given a decent view of her features, but if you choose to refuse her, it is game over.
And it doesn't matter which choices you make, the story and your relationships doesn't change a bit, you only potentially miss out on boring sex scenes. An example of this is in the very beginning, where you get the choice to peek on Lily in the shower or not. Doesn't matter if you choose not to do it, she still degrades MC for spying on her, and he apologizes as if he did it, when he didn't.
And the 'mystery' of his parents doesn't seem to matter to him at all. Otherwise, he would have demanded some answers from Megan. Instead, he trusts the one person who has shown herself able to commit computer crimes and privacy invasions against him, to help him solve the 'mystery'. The only character you have less reason to trust than Falesha, is the character you choose to trust with your supposedly most important part of life.
You're yet another wet rag of a male character, that never stands up for himself when being tortured and enslaved by sadistic psychopath Karens.
A game where the MC gets humillated, gaslit and ordered around by everyone while travelling in time, without ever receiving any explanations to any questions. Choices doesn't matter for anything except showing a few boring sex-scenes where MC is humiliated, gaslit and ordered around.
