Cool exploration game, it has some neat ideas with the only tool it gives you, nothing ground breaking, but good enought o pass the time.

It has some graphical glitches when loating the tiles, at least on the web version, but besides that, it was running  fine.

Unfortunately a forgetable game, in artwork and gamepplay.

What an awesome tech demo, it deserves to became a propper game.

Adding controller support is a must, the KB and mouse isn't ideal for this kind of game.

Also add some kind of progression, the upgrades are interesting, but maybe a skill tree or a way to make builds would be cool.

It also needs an incentive to plant, just planting for the sake of spawning enemies is not enought, also maybe some bonus or modifiers for placement.

This tech demo has an awesome foundation and would be cool to see it fleshed out since it has a lot of possibilities.

This is an arcade game where you play mostly using the mouse, I wouldn't consider it a roguelike because it doesn't play like one, your progression is always the same and is based on the number of enemies you kill.

Your basic attack amd movement are on you mouse, you point where you want to go and click to attack. This is an interesting idea but it's awkward to use in any game that isn't as arcade like as this.

The fact that every time you start the game, or at every time  you loose a life, or every time you are promoted you go back to the center of the screen with random enemies and no time to react if they are near you is the biggest drawback and it's frustrating.

It's a solid fun mini game to burn some time.

Is this a tech demo for a point n click game? The game is cute and well done, the art wrok is good, the story is fine. Shame this is a 2 min tech demo and not a game, it deserves it.

If this were a full flergged game with a tutorial and some progression between run it would be amazing, the gameplay is simple and engaging.

The only problem is that you don't know which games to prioritize because you don't know their attack patterns at first and as a puzzle game that's not interesting, you also need to keep their patterns into memory, making this a hard game to play casually.

Great short point n click game, good to pass the time when you have nothing todo. It can even be played at work, because it rund on the browser.

It has a lot of pixel hunt, the game could have a better feedback on what they do exactly when you interact with them, most you will only know how they work when you solve the puzzle.

Sorry, but filling some text gields with random text is not a game, it's not even a toy, it~s just a collection of artwork and a form to fill. There is nothing else to it.

⭐⭐⭐

This is a strange arcade game where you are a fish, swim around and eat plants, but there are also big fishes that want to eat you.

The swiming controls are like rowing on a boat, it works really well, you have enough control for it to be fun.

I don't know if you could make a full game out of this mechanic, but it's a cool concept.

And the water color art is a really good choice and it's beautiful to look at.

A simple but also challenging puzzle game about moving, pushing and matching colors.

I played this game on my smartphone.

The game has a nice design and is cute, but I cvouldn't get into it, the mechanics just didn't click for me.

Also, it has a LOT of ads when you are playing on your smartphone, even retrying a lvl can trigger an ad and this is a giant set back, specially for a game that I wouldn't play on my pc.

Puzzle

⭐⭐⭐

This is a cool concept, the puzzles are interesting and all the movimentation is smooth.

its needs more polishing on the graphics and the way the overworld is displayed, maybe a classic grid selection for the level would a better way to display them.

I haven't found any bugs on the game but it was compiled for an older android version and my OS tells me to get a newer version f thegame, so a new build might be necessary.

It's a game that would benefit a lot if it was polished a little more.

Turn hateful humans into lovable demons in this 90s arcade style shooter
Shooter

⭐⭐⭐

The 3 stars are mostly because I played on my mobile.

The game is a retro shooter inspired on older bullet hells with story, nothing to write home about, but on the less, a fun game.

The problem is that even on the android, the tutorial shows a tutorial for the  keyboard, the use of bombs is unintuitive and, for some reason, the a frame is present both left and right from the game screen, reducing the playable screen and afecting the player experience.

golf + cards + puzzles
Puzzle

⭐⭐⭐⭐

I like golf and puzzle games and this is a fun mix of both genres to play on the go on your mobile or tablet.

The simple artwork and soundtrack are perfect for  the relaxing gameplay, you can play either one puzzle at a time r long sessions, when the game starts to get repetitive ita adds new puzzle elemets.

The lenght is good for a puzzle game too, 120 puzles. I recommend it.

This is a cool experience.

it's short and fun experience, I wouldn't call it a proper game though, but I recomend playing it.

Amazing take on the zelda experience.

You start with a link's awakening throwback, but the sword you get is cursed, you need to g to the factory and solve this problem.

The only problem is that you only have 6o seconds of life, then you are respawn at the last home you was.

This adds a lot of quick thinking since most of the things in the world reset, also, a lot of trial and error to get do what you need to do in those few second you have.

This is a experimental game that's fun to play, amazing.

a little exploration game about hiking up a mountain
Adventure

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was an amazing surprise of a game.

A simple game where you go around exploring and hiking to the top of a mountain to call your mom.

This game is brilliant, the simplicity and the freedom you have when exploring the mountain and the fun side quest that you can do are amazing.

Haven't have fun with a simple game in ages, The only thing it lacks is some checklist after you finish the hiking and do lots of exploration so you can find what you missed or explore new places.

An adventure game in which you must travel the land, explore dungeons, and defeat monsters to escape the island.
Adventure

⭐⭐

I started this game thinking it would be a cool Link's Awakening clone.

But then, I started playing the game, it looks like a GBC game, but the design was off at first and then, after playing halfway through and stoping, because I was bored, I found out everything that was bothering me.

The resolution is too low for the amount of colors the game has, the designer tried to add too much details to the game and something were hard to recognize, the heart looks like a shield for god sake.

Each dungeon has a map, but for somereason the world doesn't, and the overworld is too repetitive and with dead ends, making a shore to traverse, there is no challenge, nothing to see in the world, no secrets to find.

There are obligatory INN sleeping nights that the game charges you for, why, it's not me the one thet wants to sleep in the inn, it you that wants me to sleep at the INN, don't charge the player to advance your story flags.

There are 2 or 3 extra Hearts in the game, I don't remember now, 1 of them is literally inside a house, in a simple chest, no challenge.

The world it too big, and nothing to do, don't overdesign things that aren't even designed.

Beside buttons, the dungeons aren't unique, I played 3 of them, and all felt the same.

Your shield STUN enemies, why, it's too powerful, and why can't I walk looking to a fixed direction while holding the shield, and it also knocks back enemies, so when there are pits, the best weapon is the shield.

There aren't any puzzles in the game, placing rocks and buttons without challenge is just one more  stupid thing I have to do.

Abou the bosses:

Crab: Ok, this is the first boss, it can be easy, it's there toteach you to press A.

Crow: I just cheesed it with the shield and the crossbow, no challenge required.

Rock Monster: The window to do damage is too low, and you can't do too anything interesting to the rocks he throws at you, sop you shield up, wait for the window, deal damage and walk away before he stomps the ground, Boring aff.

This game has a solid technical base, but the design is a mess.

The deeper you travel the darker it gets, and you only have your arrows to light the way.
Platformer

⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have to say that this was a really good game, it's short, has few mechanics, but all of them are well made and it's awesome to play.

The music is repetitive, but it doesn't bother you, you can almost get into a trance listening to it while playing. The visuals are really good.

The game play isn't a NES like gameplay, it's really tight controlled game without any problems.

The graphics are really good and the light effect adds a lot to the atmosphere of the game.

There are a few problems in terms of  progression, because in the beginning, every light gives you one coin and enemies don't give you any coin, so the upgrades to give more money give you a really big step up early on.

Some of the upgrades aren't as useful as the price suggests, or the description.

For example, the chance to shoot 2 arrows at once is useless, since your arrow pierce through enemies.

The double jump is not a usual double jump, you gain so little height that it's more of a emergency not falling in that spike jump.

The willow wisp is always lagging behind you, so if you have an arrow, you won't use it, the only moments I found it useful was when I was out of arrows, and that way I couldn't make any light. Again, an expensive upgrade that is more useful during arrow shortages.

The game has some randomly generated elements, that can make your progression easier or harder, mainly the resources, as you can get in later levels and almost no resources available.

I has seven levels and the final one offers a really cool final challenge.

It's a really cool experience and it will keep you afternoon occupied.

This mechanics would shine in a larger game focused on exploration, I really hope the developer uses this ideas in a more ambitious game.

The dev needs to be congratulated on creating a small and fun game with so much potential.

⭐⭐⭐

This game is a point a click, but unfortunately, it hasn't much else beside that.

The writing is cleaver, but sometimes it relies too much in internet memes that last a week as a source of jokes, and that will make this game forgettable really fast.

It's not a good point and click game as it has no puzzles, it is just a pun narrative with one  "puzzle", this  puzzle is presented with the worst possible interface and it would be easier to solve on pen and paper.

The story doesn't make any sense, the game makes jokes about that, but it doesn't make it any better.

The main character is forgettable and I don't really care for him, I wasn't invested in the main character or the story of this narrative.

This game doesn't need a sequel, even though it says at the end that it will have one. It needs a new game, a game that add something, a game that has something more, something that makes it stand out in the crowd.

Sorry to say that, but this is a forgettable game, you will finish it in one day or two and then you will forget about it, it will just be one more of those games you played.

Unfortunately beside the cleaver writing it presents sometimes, the only parts that stand out are the music and the stool, everything else, is forgettable.

A horror short
Adventure

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First of all, this is not a game, this is an experiment in horror.

Oh boy, this is good, this is really good, like, wow, I'm impressed, this is short, but there are somethings here that are really good.

Let's start with the audio adjustment, setting to the highest volume you can hear without hurting your ears is a touch o genius, because there is no jump scare.

As there is no jump scare, there is a buildup, every new "mission" builds the tension and it's really good.

Also, the warped texture effect makes an awesome effect, it looks like a bug, if it is, discover how ti replicate and implement it for real, everything looks like to be moving around, giving a nightmarish feeling.

The instant transition from one ambient to the other, adds a lot of discomfort with the reality you are, and that's amazing, that quick change should be done in some larger horror games.

Also, the discontinuity in the transition adds lot's of mistery and a sense that you are not in control of all your actions, I Loved it.

Only one thing, should be able to reduce the head bobbing and the distortion effect, because it can be too nauseating for some people.

If you want to see some different horror idea, go for this.

I thought this would be just a Super Mario Run clone, I was wrong.

It has the same starting point as Super Mario Run, but it adds a lot into it.

The main mechanic is the "double" jump, you have many jumps in the sir, what would make games easy and boring, but this game manages to turn that in  resource management when you have sections you cant step on the ground.

The air jump can be changed picking different items on the level, making it a really fun experience, as you are always changing the way you play, making the game not boring on the long run and a fun and refreshing experience.

The controls are tight, if you die or miss a jump, it's your fault and you know it, there is no blaming on the game, also the game has some nice additions as ledge grab that makes the game less frustrating with a pixel missed in one of your jumps.

The animations are really good and smooth, the artwork for the story is really pretty, I'm amazed by the amount of love this game received.

It has lot's of accessibilities features, that should be standard in games today, but unfortunately aren't, I can only congratulate the devs on that addition.

This game is available on android and as a time burner, it fits perfectly the platform. I would love to see this game receiving more attention.

A game about life, loss and hope.

⭐⭐⭐

Wow, this interactive book is pretty. the way you interact with the terrain is realy cool, and how lot's of things respond to your mouse movement is a really nice touch.

But although the game is cool, has nice ambient music, a mechanic that's really fun to use, I don't like this game.

I understand the story of the old man, but I don't sympathize with it, I don't like or dislike him. I just think that he did some bad choices in life, not evil choices, just bad choices.

Also, the camera transition bugs come times and you have to get away from the border of the screen and go back again.

The interactive book is too long, it's short, but they have a nice mechanic that has only one twist and rely on the base mechanic to keep you until the end. And here lies the problem, the base mechanic is to basic and offers no challenge, you are never thinking about what to move, making it monotonous.

It could be a flat surface in the last half and it wouldn't make any difference.

It has a awesome art style, a really cool idea for the beginning, I was in awe at the first stages of the game, but the novelty wasn't enough to hold this interactive book until the end.

A beautiful 3d pixel art game about reincarnation and karma.

I'm not playing this game or reviewing this game.

This page is a lie, this isn't The Deer God it's just the beta version of deer god, the developers should feel ashamed of this shit, this cost the same price as the final game on steam.

And you are  giving this away in the"The Bundle For Racial Justice and Equality" you think that your 5 year old game is too important for this bundle?

Don't put it in the bundle then.

Also, write on the top of the page, with the name that this is not the game, this is just a BETA VERSION.

Another tinder like card game.

The game is interesting and shows you most of the consequences of your choice. And, maybe, that's a problem, you know exactly how things are going to play.

The part that you see how the people are for or against your government is interesting, but if you aren't american or doesn't know how the american system works, some of the choices will be alien to you.

Also, there ae some of the questions that are about changing the political system, they are strange if you aren't familiar with the american political system.

This is not the type of game I like, and it was made by someone that knows their system and can't understand that other countries have different systems and you can't just throw you view of the world into the others and hope that they enjoy your game.

Explain how your political system works inside the game or make it more generic for people that aren't from USA.

Final result, it's well done, boring as any tinder like game and clearly portrays this developers view on politics, sorry, but this isn't a debate, it's just, if you think like me, you will succeed in the game.

A interesting take on the standard match 4 game.

The combat mechanic is interesting, but too random as any match 4 game.

Unfortunately, not my cup of tea, but really nice small game.

Visual Novel

⭐⭐⭐

Interesting Visual Novel.

Plays exactly like one, but with the added feature that between conversation parts you can investigate the room you wake up.

The art is really cool and and it looks like hotel dusk from Nintendo DS.

There are many endings, you can be kind of an asshole up to  friendly, you need to investigate how you got there and what happened last night and also who is the girls you woke up with.

Really interesting writing and ideas, it isn't a cliché story for visual novels and it has it's own art style, instead of trying to imitate an anime.

The characters aren't high schoolers, which add a lot of variety to the genre and the  story is more grounded. Really cool to play.

Experimental Colourful Exploration Machine

⭐⭐⭐

What an amazing concept and interesting exploration game.

The visuals are really interesting and the terrain tool is really cool.

The problems I had with this is that it's too conceptual, a basic explanation of each tool and a simple story, explaining what you are doing would be amazing.

I'm not saying this game should spoon feed the player, just add a small explanation of the terrain and movement tools and how you makle a basic exploration. Also, there is a bookmark tool that looks like a save game tool, I don't know.

If they gave you small explanations and a reason for why you are there would improve the experience a lot.

A surreal trip through the mundane

⭐⭐

This  isn't a game, this is a Art Gallery with art installations.

Every Art installation is "Interactive", in the same way as a movie is interactive.

All the interactions could be replaced by a play next animation button and it wouldn't make a difference. You can move the camera around, but only in one axis.

Some of installations show a clash between urban places and nature., but, the main theme is mundane places into absurd or magic places, unfortunately, the magic isn't that magic and the water theme is repeated a lot.

The sound design is poor, no binaural sound, this is a 3d environment, just place your sound in the right place. Also, loud doesn't mean immersive, it just mean it's loud.

So, it's boring, monotonous and not that well designed. At least it's short.

Procedurally generated Gameboy-style action-adventure game

⭐⭐⭐

This was developed in Java, take your own conclusions from that.

So, this is not a bad game, it has a story to tell, it's a good zelda game, but the randomizer is the problem here, this could be a brilliant game, everything is there to have a good story, an interesting base combat, but the world is not interesting, because everything is random, you can't go from point A to point B, because the randomizer decided to add a giant detour.

If this game was developed as a game, with hand designed map and levels, it Could be a really good game. Even the bosses and enemies could have taken more time and became more fun to play, there are some interesting ideas, but in the end, the random part of the game, makes it a boring and repetitive game.

NO THING - Surreal Arcade Trip

This game is bad, is a first person infinite runner with no effort added into it, it has nothing new, no experimentation, nothing, it's just a boring infinite runner.

This game has no reason to exist as a product, maybe as a learning experience from someone, but never as a finished game that asks for any kind of money.
