A cute, small and contained picross game about a witch getting charm drawing lessons! If you're looking for a quick picross fix, you really can't go wrong with this!

A VERY polished and fun arcade styled game! It plays similar to something like Donkey Kong, but it has much nicer animations and music than what was possible back then. It's fun, but it is HARD!! I actually haven't even beaten it, but if you like arcadey games, I think it's worth your time!

An AMAZING bullet hell that I think everyone has to see to believe. It plays very similar to Vampire Survivors, but the main gimmick is that the game actually takes place inside a window on your computer and you have to shoot the borders to extend it, as well as deal with other window-related gimmicks!

Another game about real life stuff. This is a visual novel about a fellow gamer living with vaginal pain and how it effects his relationships. It's short but sweet, has some interesting use of minigames, and taught me more about the vagina in one minigame than the entirety of my life in school and no I am not joking.

An emotional autobiographical game about the creator, their life as a transwoman, and their time as a sex worker. It's a good story told in a very unique way and while it is a sad story, it's absolutely worth your time! It's free and only about 40 minutes long so do check this one out!

Fatum Betula is best described by me as a horror game for people who hate jump scares. It's REALLY creepy and REALLY off putting, but there's no screamers (from what I recall) and you can't even really die. There's some charming characters in it and a lot of endings!

A SUPER cute, but very challenging little game you can play for free right in your browser! Controls with just the directions and one button but it's surprisingly tough despite that. The art, sounds, music, and especially the art are SO adorable!

Just when you think you've seen pretty much everything you could out of Snake, someone makes a really interesting new Snake game. You'd think being able to loop across the screen AND jump would make Snake incredibly broken but these super cool additions to the game along with some bullet hell type mechanics really make it a blast to play!

A free bullet hell you can play in your browser? You can't beat that. Return to Sender is a simple game where you only need the 4 arrow keys. You dodge bullets, and once a meter is filled up, you become invincible and have to touch all the bullets you can in the time limit to return them to sender. It's the only way to hurt enemies! Neat!

Simple, short, but REALLY fun and cute. In this game you play as a cute pigeon and help her deliver letters into mailboxes by moving fans around! It's simple but very interesting and has some LOVELY and relaxing music. Only 15 levels and it's free to play in browser so it's a great way to spend some time!

A simple Mario Party like mixed with RPGs! Every turn you roll the dice, move on the board, then battle a random encounter, and once everyone goes you play a minigame! I thought it was incredibly fun, and if you can get some friends to join you it's even better!

A really charming and simple turn based RPG. If you want a more traditional RPG experience with some really cute monsters and a really great OST in my opinion, give a whirl. It's also great to pass the time away with grinding since it's an android game!

This is a really simple and fun Smash Bros. like! Basically, imagine Super Smash Bros. but each playable character is a Kirby Copy Ability (from the main Kirby series) with only one attack. Each life lets you pick a different power, so each life basically gives you one new attack. It sounds clunky but it's actually very fun, particularly with multiple players. The game also claims every controller ever works with it, including the Dreamcast fishing rod!

A really simple, but incredibly challenging puzzle platformer. I think this game is really good to spend some time in just chipping away whenever you have the time. There's no music BUT that means you can put on some relaxing songs and videos and enjoy yourself.

A really simple versus game that's totally free! Only 2 punches and 2 ways to block. But there's a lot of fun to be had with such a simple layout. If you need something small and free to pass the time with a friend (or by yourself if you just want the score attack) you can't go wrong with a few minutes here!

Simple, sweet, and free. Cairn is a game where you just jump up a tower. One wrong move and you fall aaaaaaall the way down. But this game has a special gimmick where other players can move blocks around at the start of each checkpoint, making the map harder, easier, or if everyone wants potentially impossible to complete. It's short and really interesting, so I recommend it!

This is a very interesting two player vs game that really does strike me as something I'd discover at a convention arcade. Both players try to beat the other at collecting gems in a maze, with the inclusion of powerups and multiple characters it makes for a surprisingly fun versus game.

Pyo is a SUPER interesting little game where you try to stop little seeds from breaking the floor under you. The main movement option is an airdash, and while it seems simple it's actually pretty tough and VERY fun. Plus it's only $1 so I really can't recommend it enough if you're looking for something simple and sweet.

Bella's Voyage is a really short 2D collectathon. But it's well worth your time. There's a lot of good platforming moves you know and love, 3 worlds to explore that I was very impressed with the size of. Overall I'd say it's very similar to Super Mario 63, and it's free. So you can't beat that!!

Pull Frog is a pretty short and sweet game. It's basically what it says on the tin. You play as a frog and pull tetrominos. It's actually very fun (and frustrating) and is packed with charm and little quirky details.

I'm always on the look out for new cute platformers I hadn't heard of before. And you probably won't get much cuter than this one! Lila's Tale sees you playing as a little kid fighting off a group of bad guys to get them out of the Hidden Forest and save the owls! It's a little rough around the edges but has GREAT art, and even alt costumes for the characters in each world! If you're interested, I think you'll have a good time with it!

A very interesting puzzle game where the board is tilted, making your blocks slide around after lines are cleared. It's a pretty interesting title if falling block type puzzles are your thing!

This is a short, more visual novel-like experience about a small frog girl who is training in ballet! The music, art, story, and pretty much every single last detail about the game is ADORABLE!

Another simple and arcady video game, Carrie's Order Up is a super cute game all about being a crab waitress and trying your best to serve swarms of customers! It's incredibly simple to pick up and play, so if you like crustacean girls and score attack gameplay, don't miss this one!

This is an INCREDIBLY cute and simple arcade styled game. You run around small stages collecting gems as an adorable miner while avoiding four adorable snakes. It uses aesthetics based on Pacman and other classic arcade games, but goes even further with it by having WAY more frames and way longer/cuter cutscenes. It's got 16 stages, a final boss, and lets you continue when you die. Great for something you can just pick up and play.

Tadpole Tales is a super adorable, beautiful, and brutal shoot-em-up all about frogs fighting back against pollution! It's a tough one, but it's also pretty short. I had to put it on the list just because of how incredibly gorgeous the game is with its hand drawn art! Give it a look for sure!

If you're like me, you LOVE taking pictures in games. So, naturally, games all about taking pictures are a pretty exciting. And this may be one of my favorites. It's so relaxed and fun to play, a super easy and fun time. It's absolutely adorable, has great graphics and music, and is all around a fantastic photo-taking game!

Like micro games? Like incredibly goofy writing? Like skeletons? Hyper specific interests but I've got good news, that's what Spookware is for! This is a very funny and lighthearted Warioware-like, where you actually get to run around a small map and uncover short stories in between microgames! It's very fun for the micro-game coinsure. 

Sludge Life is a FANTASTIC little open world game all about running around a small polluted island while you search for places to tag, meet goofy characters, and find all sorts of strange little things in the world. It's an incredibly good time if you like games where you can just explore and goof around, but it also has a great soundtrack and style to boot!
