GMTK GAME JAM! WOAH! This series of jams is one of the main reasons I wanted to start jamming, so finally being able to enter was a dream come true. The great reception, as well as how fluidly the team worked together really made this one of my favorite dev experiences.
The other game from my winter 2020 dive into jamming, definitely overscoped. 5 unique enemies??? Why? This title is a great example of how solid animation and art can't save a game that doesn't have the juice and polish to support it, let alone mechanics. My biggest learning experience for sure, happy we made it. 48 hour jams suck though, def prefer a 72 hour or more lenient format. Love the logo for this though, one of my favorites.
First ever jam, and the longest one I've done thus far! Also the only time I've done illustrations for a jam game. It's a smidge jank, but it still holds a special place in my heart as my first game, made some stickers of some of the characters and have 'em on a few sketchbooks. Would love to try something in this style again!
