Final Thoughts on the revamp (sane route):
What I did like:
- For challenge segments having a alt restart menu is deemed very helpful for after first deaths
- The artstyle has improved a ton since the original arc
- scenes that were all dark before most had a redo or had a scene made for it. map or CG
- the dialogue being changed a bit definitely feels more right to do
- new map graphics for Mario definetly helps with detail and I love it
- the fact we actually got to use the chainsaw
- the rooms feel more abandoned and they feel more polished and ready to go as if they were really abandoned
- ending the demo like a cliffhanger with a transition and everything really closes out for a cancelled build
What I didn’t like:
- having the button for actions like chainsaw and breath holding being Z instead of shift is misleading and very confusing
(These don’t count seeing it’s RPG MAKER XP)
- the game has weird quirks for fullscreen
