Teach an AI to make the perfect world
Adventure

I've always wanted a sort of alien landscape generator, and this is a great execution of that. also I would die for Bit.

Gay disaster mech pilots killing fascists
Action

it's called EXTREME MEATPUNKS FOREVER and it's about a group of antifascists in mechs made of flesh and bone. What else do you need?

also i would die for brad ultrabrad

Blast your way past a large variety of bosses in this intense boss-focused run-and-gun platformer!
Action

Genuinely great run and gun game, with excellent assist mechanics. Lots of variety and cool boss designs!

you are a tiny frog in a leather jacket vest. you think it makes you look cool. and you would be correct!

oh im a lil teary eyed rn. this is very good and very sweet. As much as we rage against the evils of the now, we must also imagine the joys of the future. We must visualize the future we want to create if we are to create it.

a game of rebellion, relationships, and war among the stars.

The best Star Wars ttrpg ever made and maybe my favorite Star Wars media in general. The lateral moves are super interesting and innovative, and I can't wait for the Paths update.

10/10 would play a millennia old lightsaber stealing grandma again

A game about school days and the end of days.

This was my introduction to FATE, and what an intro it was. Great use of the mechanics, amazing setting and characters, and a really cool mystery format.

Also, it let me make Agender Stoner Haruhi Suzumiya so that's an instant high grade.

Swing, climb, grab, and throw in this action platformer where you can grapple anywhere!
Platformer

Extremely fun platformer. If you wish Mischief Makers had a sequel, play this. My only recommendation? rebind Jump and Grab to the triggers instead of the bumpers. Easier to aim that way.

Role Playing

CW for flashing lights. This is great, it's basically an interactive music video for an extremely catchy song

In a creaky old tavern, in a forgotten corner of the video-game universe, a storm is raging...

It's probably best if you go in blind. Just know, It's by the Pony Island people, so expect that level of creativity!

A pastoral fantasy tabletop RPG about traveling animal-folk and the way they change with the seasons.

There are many games that cater to the fantasy of being a grand hero, of slaying beasts and villains. It is a shame that so few cater to the fantasy of simply being a wanderer, someone who for one reason or another travels from place to place for reasons beyond violence. Wanderhome aims to fix this, and does so beautifully. Simply reading this game made me emotional and feeling feelings I haven't for a long while. I can hardly imagine how fulfilling it would be to play, but I aim to find out.

One in a minion
Role Playing

This game is maybe my favorite of all the Racial Justice Bundle games. I genuinely cried super hard at the end.

play a formerly brainwashed teen assassin caught between trauma and autonomy

The questionably redeemed assassin is one of my favorite character tropes. This is an excellent way to play one of those. It also works great as a sort of dark reflection for The Bull, basically being "what if I didn't escape almost immediately, would I have turned out like them?" which is some excellent drama. Also, the move where you just get a car and some ID but your driving is automatically aggressive and reckless? The perfect mixture of actually useful and genuinely hilarious. If I can ever get into a masks game, I'm asking if I can use this book.

A TRPG you play by reviewing other TRPGs.

I have so many RPGs but I rarely read them. This is an excellent way to incentivise actually going through them! Incidentally, this review is worth +5 points (sorry, I tend to only write 1 paragraph things!)

It's time :)
Adventure

i enjoyed my Shopinng Experience tm

Fake-date boys to find out which one killed your father!
Visual Novel

i really like bizzare indie visual novels. this is one of my favorites. Every single character is an absolute delight, and it does some wild shit with the framework

Platformer

genuinely fun platformer that does not go where you think it will

An anti-capitalist clicker for all ages
Run in browser

this game isn't subtle. sometimes we need that. This world can be saved, but it won't be easy and we can't rely on anything but eachother. Solidarity forever, everyone.

Attack and dethrone Hastur in this token-based ttrpg.

This game is mostly a meditation on GMs but also it's geniunely cool as hell and a amazing adaption of The King In Yellow

Your dad keeps leaving monster kids behind. Find him and make him pay.

its just very funny. Also, created one of my favorite OCs Bealoria the Half-Wizard

Trans superheroic teens on the run

I have litteraly no experience with the media this is based on and it still made me emotional

Role Playing

One of the few RPGmaker games I enjoy, and it's entirely for the option to skip the combat and get to the very funny story

A trpg about a diesel-fueled ferrier-of-the-dead that does not know when to quit.

just reading this game caused me to laugh so hard i dragged my roommate to read along side me.

A game of star-blessed demigods, forged in the dark.

this thing isn't even half finished yet but I'm so excited. Even in this early state it does a lot I really like

1. The way Strikes and Rumours works deals with the weird way that FITD puts a lot of pressure on both players and the GM to come up with an entire mission on the fly, which I know some people like but is very tough for me

2. It actively encourages you to use your stress equivalent more! FITD games really want you to use stress but because capping out is (usually) framed as trauma, a lot of people will use very little stress to avoid that, while TBTWK reframes them as regaining your characters memories, which is generally considered a good thing (but can be negative, which is some fun Drama!!)

3. Mechanical benefit for checking in with your fellow players! like, obviously the real value of it is the safety of your friends but it's a nice way to make it easier to remember!!

4. One of the classes can take a move from ANY FITD game. EXTREMELY curious to how this works in practice but in theory at least? Holy Shit

I might add more but this is all I can think of rn!

A self-indulgent game of aroace futurism

Sometimes I just wanna believe in a hopeful future for myself and my friends.

A simple and effective grid-based mapping tool to help you set the scene for any battle.
Run in browser

Pairs PERFECTLY with There's More To This House, and great on it's own

In this 2 player card game you play white-hat witches hired by megacorps to hack the opposition

If you're looking for a stripped down version of Neturunner (or anything in the same vein since it's not available anymore) you can't do much better than this. Simple and small, but does a lot with that space.

A tabletop RPG about fairies. In costumes. Having adventures. (Fairies are not good at creative titles.)

Good old fashioned hijinks!!! Kids would love it, probably!!!!!

A role-playing game about how legends evolve over generations

An excellent world building game, and a great way to create a faction for another game.

Memory & Loss in a crumbling utopia

What if Ready Player One or MMO Isekia was good? This is that.
