
I am just starting the preliminary process of making some assets, animations, story boards, and pulling pieces of my last projects together to begin making my next game.
I am wanting to dive a little deeper into the mechanics I have been refining over the years. I am considering making a 3rd person action adventure built on exploration, an adaptive combat system that will(hopefully) blend risk and reward between aggressive, defensive, and ranged approaches, player customization, and colorful NPCs with more fleshed out stories and personalities....that's the vision anyway.
as of now I intend to build off of the "Subhub" concept I used in my last game(Green Eye) but with a more refined idea of you choosing the location to visit, and the Subhub will go to that location where you will disembark for the adventure ahead.
