Hi, guys! It’s been a little over half a week since the game launched in Early Access.

First off, thank you so much for the sales! It means a lot to me that there’s people in my audience who were excited enough about this game to buy it so far ahead.

So, what’s next? As I said, after finishing the release on Wednesday I took a bit of a break – because the past two weeks I worked overtime to get that build out on the 9^th.

I now have a clear view on where each transformation’s “headed” in Chapter Two, as in the comic we only ever really did the Mermaid and part of the Mersquid route in Chapter Two.

This week I’m setting up some things so writing the dialogue for Chapter Two will go smoothly! Testing some things and preparing some stuff to code in each route as effectively as possible.

I can’t say how often new builds will be coming to Subscribestar just yet, as Chapter One had many, but brief transformations. 31 of the 34 count as endings, so there will be 31 transformations to continue off from in Chapter Two – and since Chapter Two will be longer playtime-wise, it will likely take a little longer to put it all together. 

To stay on schedule, I’ve got 5.5 months to get Chapter Two out – that means 5-6 endings per month. That schedule was made before I really had a good view of chapter two and the amount of work required. Stuff also changed a little bit down the line, so I’m just going to call it now and say that I think a more accurate release window for a completed Chapter Two will likely be February-March.

If it’s earlier, that’s great too! We’ll just have to see how it goes. I’m still the only person on this project and it’s my first venture into gamedev, so stuff might hit delays every now and then. But I’m doing my best to keep those delays to a minimum.

For those who have missed it: Transformation Wonderland is a four-chapter game! I’ll keep posting bug fixes and minor updates to Itch.io between chapters, but the first big content update for the game will be the full Chapter Two update. This update will be included with the game purchase, so no need to pay again when you buy the game.
