Detour

Last time, I've talked about my current state on my Yatzy project then, which I've finally figured out how to get pairs better. I've also mentioned that I will be working on the Master Mindle project next, which ironically I didn't and went with this Set clone game instead.

Set is a card game where you need to find and create a set that has same or different number, color, fill, and shape of each pip.

What does this had to do with Master Mindle? It's the way of instantiating objects within the card, which I should learn more if ever I begin working on the other project.

After trying my best to make a working game of Set, I've decided to put it off until I find a better way to make the game work normally without getting into bugs. I've also decided to cancel the Master Mindle project until then since that too might be a bit difficult for me to code.

So, where do I go from here?

I had been looking back at that Strip Hi-Lo project, and asked myself whether it is time for me to begin the project or not. After all, I've already got most of the parts done, all is left is to do some coding, reworking to create the basis of the demo version, and maybe try out some ideas to unify some objects so it runs a bit faster. Once I've managed to make a working demo of SHL, I might apply some of the changes to SJK somewhere in the near future.

I hope that clarifies a lot of stuff I had in a while, as I take a bit of breather before I go into beast mode in working on the game projects.
