i know this is kinda off topic, but, i have a SMM2 Account made since 2022 or 2023. then it was used in 2024, and it's used in 2025 to this day. For Anyone Wondering: You Need To Have Super Mario Maker 2 On A Nintendo Switch 1, (but nintendo said the switch 2 can run switch 1 cartridges), and make an account. if it isn't obvious, you'll need a nintendo account to access a few things, like The  E Shop, Nintendo Switch Online (You'll need a switch membership first though).Also, DID YOU KNOW? you need a nintendo switch membership to use Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) And Super Mario Maker 2 Online? 

however, mario maker 2 does allow you to make levels and play your previous ones (that will be in coursebot, where you saved your levels before uploading them). you can make levels and play them, but CAN'T upload them until you get a nintendo switch membership and activate it.
