We're happy to welcome you to the 2024-2025 GCU game projects showcase! Below, you will find a variety of group projects created by our wonderful 3rd year students before they embark on their final year with us. They have worked hard to get to this point so we hope you take a look around, play some games, and enjoy!
GCU's game project showcase features 3rd year students work from 2 modules Game Preproduction Workshop and Integrated Project 3 which are delivered across the academic year from September to April each year. We bring together our 3rd year students from across our programmes to form multidisciplinary teams to work on interactive media projects for a host of great clients and causes. The programmes involved are:
Our aim is to give our students an opportunity to hone their technical, teamwork and communication skills ahead of their professional careers. Each team is assigned a brief and a client (many of who are industry mentors), together with the academic tutors to offer advice and guide teams on their journey. The games you see in this collection are the result of our students' hard work and dedication, so we hope you enjoy reviewing their efforts!
Our clients are vital to the success of these modules; they provide briefs and help guide our students throughout. We'd like to thank everyone involved in the successful delivery of these modules for their hard work and engagement this year!
