Devlog #1 – My First Game and My Life So Far

Some time ago, I released my first game… and no one played it besides me ;-;.

Anyway, it wasn't a very good game either — I could've done better, but I didn’t really want to. I had been making games for about 3 years, but I never released any of them because of procrastination and other stuff. So I decided to make an extremely simple game, one I could finish in 3 days and just release it.

That’s why I didn’t do any marketing for it — it was just a test.

But my next one won’t be. I’ve already come up with a plan for 2025: I’m going to release 6 games. And that’s the plan:

❌ - Advanced platformer

❌ -  Simple RPG

❌ - Android game

❌ - Visual novel

❌ - Intermediate platformer

 ✔️ - Simple platformer

For now, I only have the simple platformer game, but I’ll be working on the rest little by little.

Speaking of which, the intermediate platformer is already pretty far along — I could finish it in a month if I really focused. But I struggle with procrastination and a few bad habits, so it’s been hard to get it done ;-;
Still, I have faith.

So yeah, that’s what I wanted to share. I hope that in the future I’ll have at least a handful of players who are interested and can have fun with my games :)

PS: Here’s an image of the sprite sheet from my first game as a little bonus!
