Button System, Enemy AI, Dog’s life and Fixing the Game!
Welcome to another weekly update on my 2D game development journey. This week, I made several improvements and added new mechanics to the game.
*Dog’s life
Now the player can see the dog’s health.
*Button System – Removing Spikes!
One of the major updates this week was implementing a button system. When the player jumps on the button, it removes dangerous spikes from the ground, allowing safe passage.
*Enemy AI
Now, the enemy can walk, this makes encounters more interesting and forces players to think carefully about their movements.

*Cinemachine
To improve the overall gameplay experience, I added Cinemachine to handle the camera movement. This allows for smoother transitions and better tracking of the player’s movements.
*Fixing the Game
Of course, game development isn’t just about adding new features—it’s also about fixing things!
