I'm working on my Invader Zim fan game. Here's some images and updates.

This is Zim's house, and I think it looks pretty good so far in the Gameboy Color Style. Here's the the inside: 

In the overworld, you can encounter enemies like Keef (Zim's best friend lol), and it will trigger battles. I'm very inspired by Undertale, but I think the fights here will be more straightforward shmup style, but the overworld will have lifesim/rpg elements you can use to level up and make the shmup fights easier. Here's the Keef in the fight and the overworld:
