I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween ♥
Pleased to report my plans are right on track. Last month, I managed to finish Monster Boyfriend and even made a little progress on Dragon Roommates as well. After a short break (to keep me from burning out), I'm back and ready to shift gears and start focusing on finishing my HSR Otomeupdate. Look forward to seeing it sometime later this month! After that's done, I'll be focusing all my efforts on wrapping up Ignis and Griffin's story in Dragon Roommates. Personal life has been getting a little busy as my family and I are looking for a new house and just received some good news that's going to be keeping us busy the next few months, which I'll mention later. However, I'm still confident I'll be able to finish both updates before the year's end, provided I stay focused and motivated. Resisting the urge to start any new projects. Oh the woes of being an 'idea person'. Too many ideas, too little time to fulfill them all. ;P
Wish me luck! ^o^
Right on track, I managed to finish the first chapter of Monster Boyfriend! The early access version is now available for download on Patreon. You can find out more info about the project on the released public page here to find out a little more about the story, love interests, and other details and features. I recently uploaded a special preview on YouTube that shows the first ten minutes of the visual novel. Which you can see above. Make sure you're following me here on itch.io, and add Monster Boyfriend to your favorite upcoming collection, so you can stay updated on news about the project. Until then, you can expect to see a free demo release in Oct 2025.
Like many others, I recently joined BlueSky and have been enjoying the experience so much! Thank you to wonderful BlueSky community for making me feel right at home. It's nice to have a safe space for us artists and creators. I hope to make many friends on there in the years to come. If you're also on Bluesky, be sure to follow me, so you can stay updated on all my current vn projects, see some of my other artworks, and more. I'll follow back so we can interact and get to know each other better. I just love seeing what visual novels and games people are playing these days. As well as seeing other creators' artworks and projects, both fanart and originals. The 'mutual' feed is my favorite to browse daily, but I also frequent otome, art, indie, and gacha game feeds as well. I eat that stuff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In case it wasn't obvious. :3
My fiance, KMBus, (who is also an artist) and I recently got some good news! For the first time in a decade, we'll be attending Anime St Louis not as guests, but vendors! We haven't applied for any conventions since our son was born, but decided to apply this year because it's something we miss doing together. And we were lucky enough to be selected ~ ^o^ We'll be selling prints of our artwork. We've got a lot of plans to make and work to do in order to prepare for it, but we're so hyped to be getting back into the convention scene. Throughout the years, we've both learned and grown a lot as artists. If you live near our area, we hope to see you there! Anime STL will be on April 25-27th 2025. We'll be listed under the name "Studio Berrybus ~" New business logo and banner coming soon! ;)
Fun fact: Speaking of logos, my fiance also was the one who made the logo for Anime STL several years ago. He's very proud of it, as he should be! ♥
That's all the news I have to share for this month. If you want to stay in touch I'll list all the places where you can find me below.
Thank you for your support and I hope you have a wonderful November! Keep working towards those personal goals ~ ♥
